If I could give 3Rivers negative stars, I would! As a new member, I did not feel as though I was important to them and that they only wanted my money. Shocking since most of my family are members, and I was a member 35 years ago.Tried to work with 3Rivers for a New Construction Loan. Mortgage ******************** was a little rude at first, but pushed us through all the hurdles. Didn't explain why they were "going down this path" vs "that path". Then, when 3Rivers had to go for an "Appraisal", they went with an appraisal company that had 2.8 Stars and who had worked poorly in the past. When the "Appraisal" was completed, it took 7 days to be sent to me. Even 3Rivers admitted verbally it was bad, but there was nothing they could/would do about it. We requested another "appraisal" and 3Rivers Mortgage Manager said can't do that, and to further make us feel less than a member, requested immediate payment for the poor appraisal (per an appraiser with over 30 years experience and who evaluates appraisors/appraisals for the state). We could have closed but decided to check with another bank. After explaining the entire situation with another bank, they worked with us to complete all paperwork in a timely manner. We felt like we were more than a number and not just a money source. We closed in about 5 weeks with an appraisal from a reputable company. We removed all our funds from 3Rivers and closed all accounts. I will not deal with 3Rivers ever again if I can help it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BANK WITH 3RIVERS EITHER!!!

I have had accounts with Three Rivers since ****. Always great customer service.Recently one of my accounts was hacked. Three thousand dollars was transferred to green dot. I contacted the fraud department and worked with *************************. She was exactly who I needed during this time of despair. Very calming and competent. SHe is definitely an asset to Three RIvers. I then made an appt with my local branch on West ********** Met with ************************* that afternoon. He was able to set up all new accounts and very competent with his position. **** has been ************ for many things. When I traveled recently overseas, he helped with getting foreign currency before my trip. He is always there if I have a question, responds right away. A great asset to Three RIvers.I have two local branches that I go into frequently. Location on Hwy 14 at *************** and the one located at West ********* in front of ****************** The staff at each location are great. They take care of you. If you are trying to decide on which bank or credit union to use, I would highly recommend Three Rivers Federal Credit UNion.

I would absolutely not recommend 3 Rivers. To avoid overdrafting, I went into a branch for help and talked to a financial planner. They set me up to have funds transferred from one account to another (I have 3). There is a $10 fee for this. Great! This year (now twice) I was charged a transfer fee, but they also charged an overdraft fee of $33, despite the money being available and transferred... that is not supposed to happen. I reached out in chat, via phone, and even asked for a manager but was told "we have told you how this works" in a very condescending way. I have banked here for over 10 years, and they refused to waive any fees. Despite what a pain it will be to go to a new bank, I will be taking my money in these 3 accounts and leaving. There are better options out there now with many big banks doing away with overdrafts fees and providing other options.
