      Hired gutter lovers LLC to fix a boiler problem his girlfriend stated in an email that he had done this fixed before for a friend so I thought he could do it here too he came over he wanted $***** I said I didn't have that I get half now and then pay him half when the job was completed he wrote up a contract stating that he was going to take a tire out of the floor remove concrete fix ed hole in the pipe replace concrete replace tile when he came over he said that he needed the rest of money now that he would start the job so I gave him the other part of the money that he wanted he caught a hole in my wall and put some foam on a pipe he said the water was coming in to my wall and made my boards in the wall wet and starting to crumble he said he would have to fix that and then I said he'll check back in a few days to see if the problem stop leaving the hole and everything in the wall so then I called poor Brothers plumbing they came over I told him what happened they looked it over they said it wasn't where he said it was they said it has to do with the broiler they didn't charge me so then I called poor Man's heating they came over fixed it the next day for $*** dollars I told Justin I want my money back he said he wouldn't do it I have his tools here I told him he could pick them up when he paid my money and then he ended up calling the police they came got the tools and tell me to get my money back it was a civil matter

      Date: November 27th 2023 - January 11th **** Agreement made for yardwork. Estimate given was $200.00 Job included backyard only. Rake up piles of walnuts and branches. Place in yard bags that we provided. *****, shovels, and bins were also provided by us. I paid ****** $100 in good faith to begin the work. He did not show up on the first agreed upon day. By November 30th the work had not been started despite many back and forth attempts. On December 1st, ****** asked me to pay another $100 to help take care of his puppy. I advised I would not pay anymore until the job was complete. The work was not started as of yet. On December 2nd, I asked for a refund. No refund sent. Long text messages sent about why he could not work. He eventually sent one his workers to our house unannounced to us. We found a stranger in our backyard one day. My husband went to talk with him, gave him some gloves and coffee. He indicated he looked ill or appeared in a daze. He left after about 45 mins. 3 bags were filled on that day.I advised by text not to be contacted ever again. ****** sent an invoice and on Jan 11th is still texting me and asking for money. Please do not ever do business with ****** from Gutter Lovers. He scams people even his own neighbors.

      ****** is untrustworthy, unprofessional, chronically late, constantly giving excuses and sob stories. He begs for money "to feed his family" on top of the cost of the job and asks for money upfront for jobs that he does poorly or does not complete. He lies and weedles out of work. 0/10 recommend. Squeezed $1200 out of us UPFRONT on 11/12/23 for a poorly done skim concrete on our front stairs and an abysmal attempt at a railing. We only did so because he claimed he had to feed his family and we really wanted to believe that we were helping someone out who was down on his luck.

      Gutter Lovers, LLC ~ ************************* did not provide services and materials claimed and charged for and for which payments were made ! Project schedule was April 26 & 29, 2023. Had done business with him previously so trusted his word but he was lying to me through the process during the whole time. I asked for loose 2nd story gutters to be secured. New attachment brackets were proposed and existing loose spikes to be hammered back in which I agreed to. During discussions the work was expanded to include installing approximately 32 ft of leaf guard panels on a 2nd story previously installed gutter. Minor work on a low short gutter was also agreed to. Initially a deposit was requested and a check was provided. Low gutter viewable work was undertaken. During the process a second check was requested for materials and he left saying he'd get leaf guards, Both checks were promptly cashed. But he did not return to complete the work and sent a message saying leaf guards not available and would pick up later and finish the job 2days later. Sat 4/29/23 AM he arrived and went on roof, using my ladder, allegedly doing work. Asked for a third substantial check payment for an additional amount ( not previously discussed) and wanted to leave before bank closed. When asked he claimed all the work discussed was completed - finished but could come back to do some minor work later if wanted After he left I went up on the two-story roof, which he probably assumed I would not because of being an old man, and discovered he had NOT done any of the work claimed ( No securing brackets were installed on the gutters requested and no leaf guard panels at all, NONE, were installed on the 32 ft long gutter.) The third check was cashed before I could stop payment ! We had been scammed Big Time for an invalid, in appropriate amount ! As expected he never came back. A Police Report was processed for documentation but of course no reasonable recourse was possible l

      This complaint information is supplementary to an initial complaint, ID # ********, concerning scamming actions by ************************* Gutter Lovers LLC submitted 5/1/2023. Issues have NOT been resolved and after the initial complaint ************************* did not provide good faith efforts but actually worsened the circumstances with more scamming. He came to my house and while sitting in his vehicle, parked in the drive, he apologized and said it was wrong to have charged and cashed checks for work which he admitted he had not done, including materials not provided, and he wanted to make it right so would do a $1,000 refund. He, in actuality, had not even started the major work requested to be accomplished but had only done other minor activity. Discussions followed and he said he did not have paper banking checks, cash payment was not convenient and credit to either a debit or credit card was the best way to do it, which he could do using his cell phone. We were very reluctant. He said he had done this with other customers a number of times. Eventually, because he seemed sincere, I provided a Debit Card information but after two submissions he said it did not go through and he needed to process a Credit Card. That was disconcerting but Credit Card information was eventually provided and he, again on the pretense of crediting the account, did a third submission. Afterward he promptly drove away before I could verify. But I immediately checked my accounts, online, and to my alarm discovered he instead of crediting had fraudulently processed three unauthorized charges with an extra combined total of $1,100 !  This was during the evening and the next day a second Police Report was filed and the case, because it had escalated to blatant Fraud, was assigned to the *************** ************************* for further action. ************************* can invoke seemingly sincere dialog but as demonstrated continues to lie and cheat with premeditated basis and without hesitation.  The only appropriate, acceptable, Good Faith ****** at this time, a month later, warrants cash refund(s) !.

      We have the last correspondence reaching out to you without a response that it was okay to stop by. We have not heard back from you through email, text, phone call, or any other form of communication. I can provide proof of the remaining material still sitting with the job name on it, untouched, ready to be installed any day. We would also like to resolve any miscommunication on the refund aspect of your complaint. It seems as though you are still basing the price off of the original quote and not all of the change orders associated with the job that were added on. I.e. Cutting down a large portion of the tree in the front, releveling all of the gutters, adding the rest of the house onto the cleaning, sealing everything that needed, touch up paint, we decided to go ahead and add more hangars. There was one completely accidental charge of $100 i have offered to refund in cash multiple times. and the difference in price with the change orders can be discussed so you're more happy with them. But we set our prices according to the work that is done and the skill taken to finish the work. prices for each part were went over individually. and can all be added up to show the final price of the job. Please email us a day and time that would suit you to stop by and add the remaining material and discuss your other complaints further.

      I saw an advertisement in a local community fb page offering gutter cleaning. I text them and spent a couple days texting back and forth of what I wanted done. ****** (owner) came to both homes I have as rentals and we discussed what I needed done. later through texts he said how much he would need down and would give me a 15% discount which was offered in original fb post. after multiple text I also decided to have him fix, clean out animal debris and replace 2 soffits. I also wanted gutter guards on all gutters. I sent him **** on cash app to have down payment and also get ppe and cleaning solution for animal situation in soffits areas. he was scheduled to come and said his workers were at one of the homes and I drove by both homes and no one was at either. when I questioned where they were he never responded and I have had no response since. I have requested through cash app a refund. it is pending. I also have all of the correspondence in text messages. nothing was done on phone.

      Harasses for extra money for "materials", threatening a mechanic's lien, didn't do what he said he would do. Calling me a liar and blaming his poor workmanship on me. Would not refund even though job is far from completion.
