    Carpet one choose to only send one person for a two person job. Sorry just doesn't cut it. The paint was scratched on my bedroom walls. The floor was not swept I spent over an hour sweeping and cleaning up pieces.. Carpet one choose to cut corners and save on labor by only sending one person to install my carpet. I am very frustrated and disappointed. This is the 3rd time I've purchased carpet from carpet one and it will be the last. I was told someone had to be at my home *****am for installation. The one person didn't call until 941am and arrived at 955am. I wanted carpet installed after 130pm and was told this was not possible. I am not sure the carpet is even installed correctly I am just very disappointed. I spent $1549 and I pulled up the old carpet and padding and disposed of it weeks before. I have photos

    The customer was not told that the installer would be at the house between 8;30 and 9 am.  This is a complete fabrication on her part.  The installers call between 7 and 10 am and let the customers know what time they will be out.  The customer has also stated in emails to the salesperson that she would be fine in a few days and that the person who was at her house waiting for the installer to complete the work would not have wanted to wait any longer for the installer to clean up.   We leave the extra pieces of the carpet at the home as the customers pay for the ********************** and they should save the carpet in case they have an accident and ever need a patch done.  The installers that subcontract out of the store get paid the same whether they have 1 or more people working on their crew.   We did not save any money by sending a one person crew (which was appropriate for the job) or a crew of 2 or 3 people.   The last time that this customer had a room done, it took 2 hours per her with our salesperson.   With 2 rooms, 4-5 hours is not unrealistic.  The subcontractors are not required to do a job in any specific number of hours.  They just need to do the job well and that is what happed here.  The customer even stated to the salesperson that she would be fine in a few days.   with regards to the scratches, scratches on paint can occur due to the backing on the carpet being like sand paper. I am sorry for this issue but I believe that this issue is a result of the person that the customer had come over and wait for the installation to be done throwing a fit.

    I was able to touch up the paint on the wall scratches in both bedrooms unfortunately it does not match. I will have to repaint both bedrooms completely. Still very disappointed and even more disappointed in carpetone response. I have asked for a refund of $500

    After further thought and since I have to repaint both bedrooms completely. I will tear out the existing carpet and padding by 5pm today and have it on the curb if you will give me a full refund $1549. It is not possible to carefully paint the bedrooms

    On 4-28-25 at 230pm *** from carpetone left me this voicemail: Voicemail ***************** April 28, 2025 at 2:30 PM Transcription "before you clean up can you will you just send me pictures of how he left things and take a picture of your wall that way I can just show the owner if you wanna send my cell phone.CarpetOne was aware the installer did not complete the job. CarpetOne only requested pictures. CarpetOne failed to complete the service I paid for in full on 4-10-25.
