Here is my experience with this contractor, personal information deleted. *** was quoted and accepted on 5/15/2024 and 5/16/2024 respectively.Email recd 5/16/2024 PrestigeHVAC Good morning, (my name) here is the proposal. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about any of this. We could get started on this project in the next two weeks. I would like to get it done before it gets HOT outside. Thank you, Have a great day!On Jun 17, 2024, at 7:21AM, PrestigeHVAC sent me this email response. After consulting with my attorney we have decided it's best to not do the job. You haven't signed the contract yet nor has there been any type of deposit put down. I would recommend reaching out to Northeast mechanical or another contractor. There will be no further contact after this. Prestige Heating and Air LLC -------- Original message --------Date: 6/13/24 5:41 PM (GMT-05:00) I sent this email to Prestige HVAC Per our phone conversation today Prestige HVAC is postponing the installation of the new ductwork and relocation of the furnace for a second time since being awarded the business. The first being due to an overwhelming demand for air conditioning units as you stated. I want you to understand that you were awarded this business for your ability to begin and complete the work within 2 to 3 weeks of your quote date. This due to the inefficiency of my system as I stated to you during the on-site review of the job. Your choice to push off scheduling my job as quoted is not within my control, but it is costing me money. This e-mail is to document that you have committed to contacting me on a weekly basis to keep me updated on when you will begin and complete the work.Regards,
