      **** "home" with attached garage. ************ and snow removal are taken care of by management contractor. Monthly pet fee for a small pet is just $10/month which is nice. The maintenance crew is very overworked thus wait times are often long. Was told rent increase after a two year lease ends would be around $20-$25. At end of two year lease, the increase was $60/month. The end of the next two year lease was $100/month. Outrageous and certainly not sustainable for seniors on a fixed income. I've been a renter for 50 years; lived in four states and moved over 20 times. The lease from this company is the scariest thing I have ever seen. There are fees for EVERYTHING. If an appliance can't be repaired and you need/want a new one, you have to pay for it...AND...when you move out, they get to keep it because it's attached to the house. Seriously. My suggestions, ask a lot of questions, READ the lease in its entirety before you commit to anything.

      RENTER BEWARE !! I rented from them for 10 years. In addition to paying a deposit before moving in, I had to pay half the cost of any upgrades I requested (non-refundable). Carpeting was thin and poorly installed. When my washer quit working, I waited 6 weeks for them to replace it: with a re-furbished one that was so dirty and *****, and improperly installed, I couldnt use it! Over the years I had many issues, but I kept hoping they would hire more maintenance people who were better trained. Didnt happen. Upon moving out I was shocked at all the fees I was (unfairly)charged. Examples: carpet replacement, cleaning service, filling nail holes, etc. I had the drywall repaired and the apartment cleaned (according to the specifications in the lease) myself before moving out. So dont count on seeing any of your deposit $ , they will find a way to keep most, if not all of it. I rented from ************************* in ****** for 6 years-had no complaints. I would not recommend renting from Yellow Retirement Communities at any of their locations. Very unfair business practices, poorly managed.
