    After my Mom passed (on 12/30/24) just hours before&was still laying in her bed, (we were awaiting the funeral home's arrival),my *********** were packing up her ************* sister had called me & said ******/Office Mngr,said to be sure to get things out of the closet or they will charge for the next ******** we were doing what was requested, ***/Director of Wellness came in,asked what I was doing & why? I explained to her what ****** had told my sister. Also that we already made several trips to our cars, it was ok it took my mind off of losing my Mom.l said we were going to donate the rest to Goodwill or charity.She said to stop&they will take care of it.I asked her if she could donate to other MC residents?She said they do it all the time& no worries,we will take care of it.I said what we already took to the car are her personal belongings the rest can be donated.I asked one final(4th)time,"are you Certain it's ok, ***?" "That we will not be billed for another month?" "We have our cars&it's not a problem."She once again assured us that we will not be billed,"do not worry,I Will take care of it."I told;****** &3other staff,I have their names,that *** said"it's ok to leave the rest to donate to residents."They said ok.We believed in ***** promises.She is a kind ********* sister then gets a bill for $4,000+&late fees with a certified letter saying they could take legal *********** will have to pay court **************** fees. For two weeks rent for not clearing out her closet!I texted + left vm's for *** to let ****** ******/Dir know what she promised us. *** said she texted Mandy&on another text said,"we will work it out."After texting ***,to see if ***** dismissed the bill,***** called me.She said she wasn't aware of all of this but will try to reverse the ******** lived there for 17 yrs! We Always paid her bills on time.We just want to grieve our Mom in Peace.These are Truly heartless & bad business practices.****** **** is their Regional/Director.
