      Zimmerman was out fr an inspection on my home. He faulted a backup because there was standing water in my yard. This was on Wed Jan 24 as it's pouring and snow is melting. I had to pay a septic inspector to come out. He came out said there is no back up no smell no problems he can see or smell. The water was from the rain and snow not the septic system

      Zimmerman Septic Services (ZSS) was hired by a potential buyer of the home to perform a Septic Inspection of the property. ZSS has been performing Septic Inspections for over 20 years. ZSS has certainly seen situations of higher water levels than normal for severe wet weather conditions. This instance has water in the tank riser almost to the top of the ground. If only 1 person lives in the residence they probably won't have any major backup in the home. If a family of 3 or more move in they will probably have severe issues in the home. Please forward us a copy of this other companies inspection report in writing. We have copies of two (2) previous pumping receipts on 9/13/2019 with it noting Septic isn't working correctly. The date on the other pumping invoice is 1-20-2023. Company also shared with us that they verbally told the owner on 1-20-2023 the Septic system is backed up and not working properly.  The date of our inspection was 1-29-2024. The potential buyer has requested a copy of the other report and to date, it has not been provided. ZSS is only stating that the septic is in "Backup" condition and not draining properly at time of the inspection and should be attended to. For future liability reasons we are just making it known, same as the prior pumping company has brought it to owners attention.  This septic does not meet State codes of having an absorption type trenches after it unless it can be proven otherwise that it does. For future liability reasons of litigation, ZSS can not approve of this septic. ZSS has pictures and copies of other pumping company stating that septic has issues as well, upon request.
