An employee of the **************, ** location of Woodhouse Spas gave incorrect information over the phone regarding the timing of a specific service that is not even listed on their site. I reserved another service on the site and was told that the service which I discussed verbally would be added. It was added as Misc. The day before the services I was told a different # of minutes for the ************* than I had been told over the phone. I asked to speak to the manager, and later was contacted by the same person, refusing to change the situation. I canceled my appt. and again requested a manager. I have still not heard from her. My husband canceled his service as well. They do not care! Lastly, we paid $300 for a gift card in March. They have not refunded that, even though I requested. I am searching by talking to other locations to see if I can speak to a regional manager or owner. There's not even a corporate office location. Zero stars. I will not give up!

Im sorry to hear about this customers issue with the **************, ** location, however we are located in *********************** and have no control or ability to resolve disputes at the ********* location. We have no affiliation or relationship with any Woodhouse other than the *************** location.
This claim was accidentally attached to our location and.needs to be removed and reassigned to the ********************** location so they can resolve this.

      Thank you,

I had an inappropriate experience at the Woodhouse Day Spa in ***************. The therapist used a light, caressing touch which is against protocol. He spent an inordinate amount of time fondling and lingering at my left foot using a feather-light touch and at some points using only one hand. This was not a foot massage but a fully body massage where I requested medium to strong pressure. I was terrified and frozen. I struggled in my mind to think of a way out while being triggered and filled with fear. When he stopped to move to the other foot I sat up quickly and said I was going to the restroom. He took me to the mens quiet space, not the womens. I knew that through the womens lounge I could pass through the bathroom area to the locker room and to the front desk. The mens area had no such pass through and I was trapped with the massage therapist standing outside the door. Luckily there was a gentleman in the lounge who agreed to walk beside me as a buffer so I could pass the massage therapist and get to the front desk for help.I left crying and stated I felt like I was just assaulted and demanded that the owner call **** wanted for hours. No one called. My husband called the salon later in the evening and asked for the first and last name of the therapist. When he wasnt given the last name he asked if the therapist was there to speak with. We were told he was with a client. They allowed him to continue working his shift even after what I told them. The owner called us soon after we called the salon and his first words were what do you believe happened?Ill just say that he was completely incompetent, accusatory, and filled with empty excuses. He stated that they have never had a complaint like this before. That is a lie.I connected with someone I know who used to work there and she explained to me that they had fired a therapist in the past for inappropriate behavior. Im sharing so you all can know, sadly, the Woodhouse Day Spa is not a safe space.
