Good morning,
As a standard practice, Auto Credit USA runs a recall report on every vehicle prior to sale and provides the customer with the recall report at the time of purchase. At the time of **************************** purchase, he signed an acknowledgement form and the report from the ***** (National Highway ************************************* noting that there were zero recalls at the time of purchase. If recalls have been issued since that time, Auto Credit USA would not have any involvement in issuing the recall. Please note that recalls are free repairs so if there are active recalls, ************************ should be able to have the recall repairs performed at no cost to him.
A copy of the acknowledgement form and the ***** report are attached for reference.

*** *** has taken his vehicle to 3 different repair facilities from the time of his purchase. To our knowledge, the service contract that *** *** purchased when purchasing his vehicle has covered the cost of repairs for all three of these visits. *** *** should not have any out of pocket expense to date. If that is inaccurate and *** *** has had to pay for a repair, he is welcome to provide us with a copy of the invoice and we will certainly consider it for reimbursement - if it is for a repair covered by this service contract.Initial Complaint

In March of **************************** about a ding to my credit score. I disputed it with them and because of GCAC failing to reply with Transuinion, my credit file has been destroyed now resulting in a credit score of 0 down from 700. Also, no credit will be reported ongoing. 2 data breaches with them also and identity stolen. Also, was missing 5 months of payments prior.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Thank you.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I have been disputing with Transunion about my credit history and score being a zero. My credit had a ding so I checked on it. ********* Credit Acceptance reported I had a late or missing payment.......they pull the money every month on auto pay from my bank account. So first off I got a credit ding for something I wasn't in charge of? So I disputed it. Transunion told me they contacted ********* Credit Acceptance about the dispute, and legally GCAC had 30 days in which to comply and respond. They failed to do so, in which resulted Transunion deleting my credit file. Now my score is a 0 with the past 36 months of payments deleted from my credit history. I've contacted the BBB, which in turn contacted GCAC and I agreed on GCAC's terms of this being resolved by October 31st, 2023. It still is not taken care as of 11/3/2023. There has been nothing reported to Transunion.

As was mentioned in our initial reply, GCAC will submit the credit file with updated payment history on 10/31/23, which we did. Our response also indicated that we are unable to control how quickly (or slowly) the information is updated once remitted to the credit bureaus. It is our understanding that the credit bureaus typically take up to 14 days to process information once submitted. Hopefully in the next week to ten days, **************** file will be updated. In the meantime, there is nothing further we are able to do in order to expedite the process as the information is now with the credit bureaus.

I purchased a vehicle at Auto Credit USA on July 22, 2022. Within 3 days of having this car it had to be put in the shop for repairs. I had to get a rental and they did not even want to offer me that being it wasnt in the contract. I even tried calling and asking if I could bring the car back since it was in the shop not even 3 days of having it. But, that wasnt allowed to either according to my contract. Then not even a week later when I had the car back the problem was never resolved and had to be put back in again for more this time with no rental car and not to mention no way to get to work all while still having to pay car payments on a car I wasnt even able to use. Not even 2 weeks later it had to be put back in another shop for repairs again. There were so many issues still and now it has to go yet again in the shop and I am not able to get to work yet again all while they are shutting my car off cause no payment is being made. Well, if the car actually would work I would be able to make it to work and make the payments but, when I have had this car in the shop 4 times now after purchasing it. Then when ever you call to talk to someone they are very rude and rush you off the phone. They dont want any explanation for anything. But yet cant give any explanation as to why they sold me a lemon? They do not help any **************** of anything and this has been an absolute nightmare since driving the car off the lot. They wouldnt let me trade it for a different vehicle or anything. Just we will fix it under your warranty and thats it. Which is great! But, I need a car to get to work and one that actually works properly. Or no money is being made and no payment can be made so what is the point of doing the repairs when you cant even drive it to your place of employment because it is either in the shop or they shut it off due to no payment. Also, they wont work with you on payment arrangements when you get a new job and the pay cycle changes either.Business Response

On October 2, 2021, I purchased a car. I showed up as a single woman with a toddler in tow and in desperate need of a car. I had never bought from a dealer before and was unsure what I was doing. I bought a 2013 ****** Altima 2.5 S Sedan with roughly ****** miles. My loan amount is $18,000. It's less than a year later and I can't get anyone to even consider refinancing me because I am upside down $12,000 in a car I have had for less than a year. They all say the math doesn't make sense. My APR is outrageously high at *****%, but I expect that from a buy here, pay here dealership. I also understand jumping the price at places like this, but I feel as though I was severely taken advantage of. I don't know what to do about this anymore because I can't get anyone from the dealership to get back to me on this. I don't understand how an 8-year-old basic car was over $16,000 when KBB puts it at 6-8k.Business Response

**************** purchased a vehicle for the market value of that vehicle at the time of purchase. As has been widely reported, used vehicles prices have been significantly higher over the last two years in large part due to supply chain issues in the new vehicle markets resulting in a drastic decline in new vehicles. This reduction in new car availability has driven used vehicle prices to some of the highest levels in history. Dealerships are regularly buying vehicles at auction for more than vehicle was sold for as a new vehicle just a few years before.
As **************** stated, the interest rate is fairly standard as "buy here pay here" dealerships typically sell vehicles to credit challenged customers which carries more risk.
On a separate note, we apologize to **************** for her failed attempts to contact the dealership. Should she want to discuss the matter further, she can call and ask for ***************************, the General Manager.
