    We engaged the services of Justin ******** as a contractor to carry out tree cutting work adjacent to our property. The agreed upon price for this service was $1500. However, shortly after commencing the job, ******************** requested an additional $1800, which we reluctantly agreed to pay. During the second day of work, an unfortunate incident occurred where a large log fell onto our roof, causing significant damage (all recorded on video). ******************** assured us that he would contact his insurance company to address the situation and provided us with documentation that supposedly confirmed his coverage. However, upon further investigation, it was discovered that his insurance policy had expired.Despite our insistence that he rectify the situation immediately, ******************** only took minimal action by placing a turf on the damaged roof, as the log proved too difficult to remove. Subsequently, he disappeared and informed us that we should handle the repairs ourselves, promising to reimburse us for the expenses incurred. Regrettably, it has been three months since this incident occurred, and we have not received any payment from *********************** a result, we were compelled to bear the financial burden of removing the log, repairing the roof, and resolving all related issues out of our own pocket. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
