Paid to fix refrigerator. Changed processor but didnt add enough fuel. Supposed to come back to fill but kept canceling the day of appointment. Paid to have freezer fixed also. *****, your review is misleading and omits key facts. We replaced your refrigerator compressor under your warranty plan at no cost to you. During service, we discovered a leak in your refrigerant line a pre-existing issue unrelated to the compressor which you refused to repair. We advised you of this and explained that the compressor alone would not fix the problem unless the leak was also addressed. Accusing our business of fraud because you declined to proceed with the recommended repair is both unfair and inaccurate. We take integrity and transparency seriously, and we stand by our work. Anyone reading this is welcome to contact us directly for documentation of the service provided and the recommendations made. Also your house condition was appalling. You can't even get into the front door because of all the clutter and garbage. Its not even a safe work environment.Business Response

Repairs were done to a dishwasher in November.The issue reappeared a month later. On 1/6/24, I contacted the business owner with a picture of the issue. He replied with a screenshot from ******, insisting the dish washer was within normal parameters. After a tense exchange, I left a negative review. He responded by replying with my home address and phone number. In internet parlance, this is doxing. He also sent a text message indicating he would leave a negative review for my workplace (a church), which he did.I'm sad to say the intimidation tactic worked, and I deleted the post. I have included screenshots of his negative review, and the threat, and the actual doxxing. Please do not share the photos of my address, this is for BBB's eyes only. I contacted waymire to repair my refrigerator which was not done and I was charged $360. I requested a partial refund and I was told no. I left a very honest ****** review and the owner of the company sent me a text stating he replied to my review and included my address and phone number in his reply. I am a victim of domestic violence and my ex husband is serving time in prison for it. I moved and have kept my whereabouts confidential and this company put my home address on his review. Sir we showed up to your house and you have several issues with your frisge. Someone put weather stripping around the freezer to seal it, it has a drain and defrost issue, it had low refrigerant, the fridge door hinges were sagging and don't close right. I explained and showed you all of these issues and due to not having any money you wanted to fix only 1 of the 5 issues and then complain that's its not working. You need to take care of all of the issues with the doors not sealing and the draining and defrost issues as well. Also the coil underneath was extremely dirty and disgusting. I paid, in advance, for Waymire Appliance repair to install a part on my ** washing machine. The Tech came out and replaced the part, leaving my house without testing to see if the washing machine was working properly. I tried to use the machine shortly after, and it no longer is bringing water into the machine. To be clear, I had just moved and the part that was being replaced was due to the water connection being stripped.. most likely done during installation. I had used the machine 2 to 3 days prior to moving and it worked properly. I tried to reach out to the tech as soon as I tested the washing machine via both text and phone.. leaving a message. He only responded to tell me he was on another call and that something else must be wrong with the machine. He never called me back. I reached out to another company, ****** and the tech came out and evaluated the repair and the washing machine. His expert opinion is that the prior repair was not completed properly.. even calling it a scam, as the part that was installed was altered, which he said is not standard practice, and that this could have shorted the board out, which he thinks needs to be replaced now. His estimate for the new repair would be $700.00. He actually suggested that I follow up with a complaint, as he said this type of crappy service gives his industry a bad name. At the very least, I deserve a refund. He said that in his opinion that Waymire appliance repair should be required to fix the washing machine. I have attached the receipt and narrative that he provided, which was an additional $119 to diagnose the problem.Initial Complaint

I hired Nic Waymire from Waymire Appliance Repair **** on June 26th to replace my A/C unit. On the 26th I paid Nic Waymire $4,129.00 to completely replace my HVAC. He began work on July 9th and the second time he came back was July 19th. He committed to provide full HVAC unit replacement. When he left on the 19th, he said he would schedule a date in the fall to finish setting up my heat. As it was July and I finally had air conditioning after going through the summer without, I was okay to wait. I started contacting him on October 15th and have received one text message in communication in the last 13 days. After trying to politely contact him alternatively through his ******** page, he blocked me so we could no longer communicate. His business has not tried to finish the job of installing the heat. In two days, the temperature will be dropping to 25 degrees and I will be without heat. I would like a refund so that I do not have to work with this company ever again.Initial Complaint

Mid November I called Waymire App Repair out to repair an older ******* Ref/Freezer...the owner charged me $280.00 to order and replace a fan motor...several days later...same problem...he suggested I defrost the freezer even he prior told me the ice would melt and evaporate...I spent a whole day defrosting...days later...same problem...he suggested I have a Freon leak...I ask him what can I do about that...he ignored my calls and text...so I am out $280.00 and still same problem...I am a widow living on a SS check and this is devastating to me...how dare him to take advantage of me or anyone else...bad, bad customer service and business practiceBusiness Response

Customers evap fan wasn't running and had a severe ice build up. I replaced the fan and she didn't want to let the ice thaw. Finally convinced her to thaw the freezer and some ice started to accumulate revealing a refrigerant leak in the evaporator which nothing can be done to fix that issue.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Mr. ********************** finally answered my text after he received the BBB complaint...he said the repair would cost me about $1000 even if they still make the coil...finally an answer...but he did not offer any kind of refund on the original cost of repair that did not fix my issue with the refrigerator...he said he didn't answer my text or calls because he has about 500 customers and is very busy...however he sure answered my call upon the original contact and within a few minutes...if he has that many customers to serve I would think he would have a fleet of vehicles and employees...nevertheless I will never call upon him again...

I contacted them on Oct. 12th to repair my washer, which had a glaring issue of screeching metal on metal noises in its last spin cycle. They agreed to fit me in the next day. He came out slightly late and examined my washing machine. He determined what he believed to be the cause of the issue, and charged me $296.20 for labor and the replacement shifter. I paid $300 in cash (no change).I did not hear from them again until Oct. 21st when I reached out after no contact on their end about the part he ordered. He said he was sick but asked if the machine had been usable after he reset a component on the first visit. I informed him that it was not usable in the interim; the screeching was still present and unbearable. He informed me that the part should be in that day, however. We scheduled for him to come out the following Monday (24th). I told him that if he was still sick, simply to contact me and reschedule - trying to be accommodating. He made it out on the 24th as scheduled and replaced the part, but even when he ran it, the noise persisted. He advised me to run several loads to see if the new part would grind down a piece of metal that was rubbing against it; otherwise, he said, he would need to come back and grind it down himself and then everything should be settled.Since then, he has completely ghosted me. I tried to contact him on Nov. 4th and Nov. 7th politely to no avail. It seems he is content with the job he has done, which accomplished literally nothing. I will have to either replace the machine completely or hire someone else to complete the repairs. At this point I would demand a refund, but I obviously cannot contact them since he seemingly blocked my number.Business Response
