Started out with a great agent, however after not hearing from her for a number of weeks, we found she was no longer with Interra. The new agent didn’t bother to read previous correspondence but rather kept asking for the same information multiple times. Then she provided us in writing a mortgage term longer than what we had requested stating she had approval from her boss for the longer term. Ironically, that longer term offer was abruptly rescinded without explanation. Please note nothing had changed in our personal finances to sway the mortgage terms nor did we want a longer term The mortgage process continued on for months without any definitive response to our questions and the realtor’s inquiries regarding completion dates. We were finally notified by title company that closing was scheduled. .We arrive at closing and the title agent inquired if Interra intends to be present. We advised that Interra had not contacted us. The Interra agent did finally show up at closing, however during the document review process it was noticed that we had not been provided with a copy of the independent appraisal document. The agent stated closing will stop unless we sign that we had received the appraisal - irrespective of the fact that she didn’t have a copy to present to us. Ultimately, after we refused to falsify, she reluctantly remotely logged into the Interra data base and retrieved the appraisal documents during the closing process. The question remains if it’s ethical for a mortgage agent to bully a client into signing documents stating a document was received when in fact said documents were not presented to client ? Would a state licensing agency be interested? Also, is a nearly 4 month mortgage process typical for Interra ? As a side note: I’m beyond astonished at the questionable practices of the consumer mortgage division of Interra as I’ve found the business lending side of Interra to be most professional and competent in all transactions

I like doing business with this credit union. I have been a member for 20 years and *** not had any issues with Interra. I will keep my business here. They treat me right. If I have questions, I go to the mobile app and send a message and its answered in a timely manner.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. ****** was the only nice person I talked to in a week of dealing with them. Everyone was rude. They charged my account twice and then have given me the run around on getting the money back when they were at fault. They did not handle the situation professionally at all.

Unable to purchase a car with my own money as they have absurd limits and timeframes on transfers. No solutions offered, I was even swore at by the service agent and the manager told me to bank elsewhere if I dont like it. Id rather leave my money in a mattress than with this bank. I will be closing my account asap. Completely unacceptable behavior from this company, and not the first time this has happened.
