I purchased a used car from the business I described above. It is a 2008 Chevy Aveo ls with 122716 miles and very clean. The extenuating circumstance why I didn't file a claim within one year was that I was constantly working on the car and hoping the repairs would end soon and the car would finally be fixed. That never happened. In fact, I've owned the car for 14 months as of now and estimate that I've only been able to drive the car for only about six months out of the 14 months. I paid $2950.00 for the car and it is a total lemon. The very first day the tire went flat and it cost me $90 for a new one. Within the first week or so I noticed the car loosing coolant. I didn't notice any leaking on the ground or anywhere else. Then the fuel pump went bad, so I replaced that. I kept loosing coolant and couldn't figure out why. A good friend from my church who is an excellent mechanic came down to look at it and told me that the coolant loss was from a hole or crack in the #2 cylinder wall. He told me that I would be lucky if the car lasted another year. He told me to buy some stop leak for cylinder wall holes or cracks but said that would just delay the inevitable. After I replaced the spark plugs and the coil, which also went bad, I tried the stop leak. It worked for a couple of months and the coolant leak started again and then the car wouldn't start. The coolant was leaking through the cylinder wall and drenching the spark plugs. Then one thing on top of another. The oxygen sensor went bad along with the external air temperature sensor. I replaced those. I got the car running again and not long after the cooling fan stopped working. I had to buy a obd2 code reader to find out why and found I had a bad cooling fan resistor. I did an oil change and noticed that I had coolant mixed in the motor oil. Then the camshaft position sensor went bad so I replaced that. Then the battery went bad and that was another $162. This is the worst car I've ever had.

I received ****** answer to my complaint. Again, the reason it took this long was I believed the car was repairable. After replacing part after part I found out around October that the crack in the cylinder wall could not be repaired. Then I took the car to Aurora tire because of the loud noise coming from the rear end, which I believes was a wheel bearing. They told me the car can't be driven because where the coil spring attached to the frame is all rusted. It is dangerous to drive. I believe the car sat in water for a long time for rust to be up there. The car was a death trap when I bought it. If I would have taken the car to a mechanic when I bought it they wouldn't have seen these problems.
