I called this company June 16, 2022 to install a new thermostat because I woke up to mine not working. "T" came out that day, wired the new thermostat and stated something else was not working. He went to the furnace and said I needed a new 24v transformer, that mine was not putting out 24v. I asked the price and told him to fix it. He came back from his van and stated it was his last one. He then took a call and wired the transformer. He ended the call, turned on the two circuit breakers when a white light flashed and a boom sound happened. "T" said he wired the transformer backwards. He went back to his van and came back in with what I can only assume was another transformer even though he said mine was his last one. He wires this one in, turns on the breakers and there is nothing. He then states that he blew the circuit board by putting 24v of high voltage into a low voltage board. "T" then has to leave stating he will work on getting a new board ordered when he leaves. I asked how long and he says if they don't have one at the shop it would need to be ordered and should be the next week. I received a call from the office the next day 17th to see if "T" and "C" could come out. They came around 11am to get part numbers to see what they need to order. That tells me they didn't work on fixing anything the evening before. They have been out to check my outside unit to be sure it was working prior and it worked. They sent another tech out who refused to wire a new board in. Although we now know it wasn't going to work either. They have been out a few times up until today's date with no resolution as they cannot find a board since my unit is old. My point is that there was nothing wrong with my board until "T" wired the transformer backwards. I have no working furnace or air conditioning as it's the air handler board that was fried. All while I have taken time off work to be there when they have asked.
