    We hired Precious Life on 9/21/2023 to write a doctor's note for work purposes and happily paid $199 for the service. A few months later, we noticed various charges to our credit card from Precious Life totaling over $5,000. We called back several times and each time we were disconnected before anyone even answered the phone. We called our credit card company to dispute the charges and they immediately put a hold on any further charges from Precious Life. THEN we received numerous calls from Precious Life demanding that we call the bank and remove the holds, promising to refund us in full AFTER we removed the holds. We requested they refund us first and put all of this in writing, but they refused, insisting we remove the hold first. We called the bank and were advised to NOT remove the hold because, like Double Jeopardy, if they don't follow through and refund the full contested amount, we can't go back and dispute the charges once we've dropped them.Precious Life continues to call and loudly demand that we remove the hold. The man we spoke with had a South Asian accent and I suspect this entire operation to be a scam run from overseas. A closer look at the website and business address reveals some suspicious details. Not only do we want a refund but we want this business to be held accountable.

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused. We completely understand there was a technical glitch due to which the card was charged multiple times. However the moment we came to know about this charge we have refunded $2800 and remaining we will refund in next ***** days and same has been informed to the customer to which they have agreed. We believe in the best customer experience, we never wanted to charge them incorrectly but somehow it happened due to a technical glitch however will ensure it doesn't happen with any customer in future and We are coordinating with the customer with an update on a timely manner.


    Now customer has agreed that they will remove all the charges post getting the refund, please find attached email for your reference.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 

    There were 28 fraudulent charges that total $5,599.72. Until we receive a refund for the full amount, we will maintain this complaint and review. We tried to resolve this with the company directly and didnt begin to receive a response until we posted negative reviews on ****** and BBB.

    Better Business Bureau:

    We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. 

    Precious Life over charged us by $5599.72. To date we have not received a refund for the entire amount. They refund us $200 at a time and then call us to demand we remove the complaint. We have reiterated to them that we will not consider this resolved until the ENTIRE amount is refunded. Only at that time will we remove any complaints and negative reviews we have posted.
