  Jerry did a rebuild of our wind damaged 40 yr old chimney. I cant say enough about the beautiful job he did of finding a close match in color of new bricks to the old bricks that are no longer available. He was able to lay them out so that you cant even tell the slight difference in size. The quality and art of the work is exemplary! I couldnt have asked for more professionalism from his step by step informative communication to being on the job himself, rather than sending a crew and then just showing up to inspect later. Cleanup was immaculate, and it was a pleasure to see how much pride not just he but also his workers take in their work! You could tell that they werent just there to get a paycheck.

  Finding someone that not only has the skills, experience, and also cares about their work from using the right material, building with quality and cleanup is hard to find here in ***********. Believe me when I say this because I've built multiple homes from the ground up hiring many contractors. Jerry is one of those talented masons I will hire again and refer to every friend and neighbor. When no one else would repair and rebuild my driveway drainage walls because it wasn't a huge job - Jerry did - and he did an excellent job. It actually looks better than it was before it was damaged. My deposit was normal for any construction work, he showed up when he said he would, stayed as long as it took to get the job done, and it was cleaner afterwards then when he started. And he took the time to find the brick "I liked", not just any brick he found to rush the job. And his quote was the best I've ever seen over 40+ years of hiring contractors. He outlined every step of the job, including the materials. There was no guessing or assuming. Jerry Allen is an excellent *****!

  ******! ** ********************** wanted a large deposit but then had a long list of excuses as to why he couldn't come to work. When he finally started he left damaged block, brick and rubble in the foundation that he poured. We caught him doing it and he had to tear it out. Because of ** **********************'s continued attempts to take short cuts I had to fire him. Then he filed a law suit wanting to be paid for work that he didn't perform. He will dispute this but just check Clarksville Tn court records.

  Jerry is a very experienced and skilled brick *****. We hired Jerry in the spring of 2022 to repair a leaky chimney, to replace some cracked bricks and mortar, and to do some tuckpointing. The work he did was top notch. He had to find a brick to match the bricks that needed to be replaced on our chimney since the bricks we have (****) are no longer manufactured. He did a good job finding a match and blending the bricks in. The cracked bricks and mortar were mostly above our garage. We had him use bricks from the chimney (the top 10 rows were removed) for this so that the match was perfect. As of this writing (3/25/2023), all of the repairs still look good.If you choose to use Jerry, you will need to be patient as he is usually juggling several projects. Also, be very specific in your instructions regarding the work to be done. His price includes time and materials as well as clean-up.
