    In February 2025, I hired Allen Home Services to replace two electric panels. During the job, their team sent an electrical surge that destroyed my oven. Despite signing an agreement (on paper) to repair or replace it and documeted in several emails, they have refused to honor this commitment. During the process, a repair technician came to the house and deemed the oven beyond repair. The owners *** and ***** Allen stated that a new oven was ordered however after 3 months of waiting (on multiple occasions they stated that they were still waiting for delivery but would never provide tracking or other evidence). A that point, we agreed upon a settlement (which required me to incur an additional $1,000 out of pocket). ***** Allen, who agreed to the settlement on June 3rd, sent a picture of an envelope that he stated was the check. He also committed to sending out a technician to resolve unfinished work. As of today, June 19th, no payment was ever received and after several weeks and many unanswered phone calls, emails and text messages I still have no ************* indicated above, their work was abysmal. They disabled all outdoor circuits, taking an unacceptable three months to restore only a portion, and now they refuse to fix the remaining issues, leaving my homes electrical system severely compromised. Attempts to resolve these problems have been futiletheir office does not answer calls, and owners *** and ***** Allen, who personally promised to rectify these mistakes, have ignored all communication via calls, texts, and emails. All said, I have been without an oven and unable to use several outdoor circuits, lights, etc. for over 4 months. Their failure to rectify these issues and destruction of my oven will likely exceed $5,000 in damages, as I now have to hire another electrician for the mistakes on wiring my panels that were never resolved and the purchase a new oven (replacement cost of ~$4,200)

    I hired Allen Home back in 2021 to replace a few can light fixtures at my business. They recommended LED stating they would last 10 years or more. About 6 months later they replaced a few more including one they had just installed that went out. In 2022 they replaced about 8 more including 2 that they installed in 2021 (not lasting anywhere near 10 years). They assured me this would not be an issue so in May of 2023 they replaced the remaining 27 at $140 per for a $3640 total while also replacing 2 more they just installed the previous year. Since May of 2023, they have been out at least 5 times to replace their failing lights, and always at no charge. In March of 2024, I informed them of more lights out including 1 in our 20ft atrium. They came and at no charge fixed all but the 20ft as they needed to get a bigger size. We called them out on 3 more occasions since, two at no charge, one we had to pay a $100 "warranty fee" because nobody to get ahold of anyone at the office but we needed light so our customers could see, and in September of 2024 "*****" the installer of most of these lights said that he needed to talk with "*****" about a game plan since by his count 12+ had failed anywhere from a month after install to less than 18 months after install. During this process I was told about a 1-year warranty but "Don't worry about it, we will take care of you". 12/5/24 I called about 4 more out, on 12/23 they came out unprepared with a new installer who said all were out of warranty but he would talk to "*****". 1 hour later I received an email (not a call) with a $1500 estimate, over $350 per light, almost a 300% increase over the previous year. "*****" refuses to respond to me after an email from him 2 weeks ago stating he would respond the next day. We have spent over $5423 on defective equipment and Allen Home refuses to do anything about it. It's obvious with close to 25% failing within a year there is an issue with the lights they chose to install.
