On Thursday November 16 of 2023 Bluestream came out to power wash my home and did a poor job leaving my home filthy. In trying to obtain a partial refund for the shotty work they would only offer a rewash which was supposed to be done before thanksgiving. Thanksgiving came and went with no call. After filing a dispute with the credit card company they then decided they could come back out after winter and rewash in the spring, which completely misses the point to washing the house before putting holiday decorations up. They have since stopped responding and have no apparent plan to rectify the situation so a small claims suit must be filed.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/21/2024

The customer (***************************) and Blustream ********************** Wash have reached a resolution to this complaint. Blustream has refunded the customer in the amount of $433.78. The customer agreed to receive a partial refund as he stated "As i paid for a service to be done in November not the spring i have no intent on allowing you to keep the full amount. $200 is the work you did."

In addition, we would like to make it public record that Blustream Power Wash did try to contact the customer to come back out to the property to fix the mistakes/areas that the customer complained about. We had a date scheduled (November 30th, 2023) to come out and re-complete the wash to the customer's standards, but due to weather change, we were not able make it out. The customer stated that "I already have my Christmas lights up so its gonna be difficult to get to some if the areas." Due to the vast change in weather, we were unable to make it to the customer's house before wintertime and offered to wash his house again at no additional charge in Spring of 2024. The customer refused to have another wash and proceeded to file a complaint. In our defense, we were not granted a chance to fix the errors stated by the customer. This is a perfect example of a small business being taken advantage of. Our company wanted to make everything right, and the customer was unreasonable in identifying that we could not wash the house in temperatures below 36 degrees.

I am rejecting this response because: *********** felt it was reasonable to hold onto $633 for a job that was not completed. They wanted to wait months to make it right when the weather did in fact NOT change until after the rescheduled appointment to fix the job had come and gone with no communication what so ever.  Sometimes small businesses like to play on the heart strings to become the victim when they are actually the villain. Should not have been a months long battle to begin with. The service was already overpriced and that was accepted figuring the job would be done right the first time.  You can attempt to slander my name but it doesnt change the facts
