      ******************** was hired on 8/5/22 to take out the old cement up by my garage door and replace with new cement and drainage. He was paid over half of the money a total of $3,592.00. After receiving several excesses from him since that hire date (8/5/22). I requested my full refund on 9/27/22. Then on 9/29/22 I received a promissory note stating he wanted me to sign stating he would pay me back by 1/1/2024! I am Not a bank and want my money back today!The work was never stated just a lot of excess why he could not start it. He is a scammer with a lot of false promises!

      Ma'am,  I understand your frustration completely and wish to resolve this as fast as possible. As I said with email and the promissory note I do not unfortunately have that kind of money laying around.  I did buy the materials for the job as I said I was in the first place. The date on the promissory note is a final date it is not the date hopefully you'll be getting your refund. I am working to get a loan to pay you and another customer back that is understanding the situation and just wants there money back until spring. I do apologize for the "excuses" I'd like to call life happenings that prevented me from doing your job on time or atleast in a timely manner. I ask you though please don't call me names, I have lots of satisfied customers and my heart hurts that our business has came to such nastiness. My last words I swear to you I'm working every day to get you your money refunded, I never wanted this to happen like this and I do Apologize once again for all the stuff that happened and that you're disappointment.  I strive to make all my customers happy and it really does hurt that you are not a happily satisfied customer. I hope that we can resolve this with less mean words and like adults.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I would like to respond online but I do not see where this can be done. He states he spent the down payment I gave him on materials. if he did indeed do that, then I want those materials. I paid for them so I should get them. Or he should take them back to get the money back so he can give me my money back. thank you *********************************

      I want to respond by saying for one, the lady has already got a lawsuit against me. So giving her anything that hasn't already been used on other jobs would be like paying her twice. I have the law suit and I have all intentions of paying said judgement in full. I did not do anything wrong to her on purpose and I'm sorry if she thinks I did this trying to scam her or anything of the sort. I will also state this when I paid for the concrete and gravel we needed for the job those down payments are kept on e you cancel. But yet I still am in agreeance of paying the full judgement. I would really appreciate this situation to be ended and over. Thank You and have a great day!

      Sorry for the delayed response.

      I will seek the Tuesday night free advice to see what they have to say.

      I did try and take him to court twice and he was a no-show both times. I feel if he was truly wanting to pay me back he wouldve shown up to try to make some type of payment plan with me and hes never contacted me to do so. The judicial assistant told me to just consider it a ****** learned. Nothing more can be done.

      Im really mad at myself for falling for this scammer. I always thought I was a better judge of character than that.
