    I hired **** to work and he never did the work he never gave me a contract I asked him if he was bonded and insured I asked him if he was going to get a permit and he wouldn't answer the phone I panicked I've been asking for my money back since Friday the 21st of July I'm 66 years old I am on a fixed income I have no money to lose he never came to the job he did not do the job a lady friend that I know told me that she uses him and that's the only reason why I went with this person he took my money he keeps talking disgusting to me I know he's been incarcerated before he told me on the phone after he took my money he is a recovering drug addict and I said I think it would be best just to give me my money back he did sign a receipt that I wrote for him taking my money he included his driver's license and his social security number there is no signed contract he never gave me a contract and then he said I owe you nothing he keeps flipping me off on a text and when I do hear from him he talks disgusting at me I've enclosed another reason why I didn't want to hire him it's a text he sent me regarding my son and I I do not think he's licensed insured or bonded I know he did not intend to get a permit for the job or even mention a permit I only wanted him there because my friend told me he was a good worker I should not have listened to her and it's caused her and I not to be friends now because he took me for my money he owes me $900 he didn't work he never came back I was panicking calling him & texting him and he said that he didn't have to go to his job this next week he took off to go to my job and that's why I owe him so he says I have a text also that he said he's off work next week and then he lied about that quite frankly being a senior at 66 years old and I am a woman I am actually kind of afraid of him I have not contacted my local police department yet because he has not made any threats I just don't think he's stable I don't know what to do I need my money that's why I came to you I hope you can help me I've enclosed the text to prove from his words on the text that he wasn't even working next week I need my money back please help me I'm begging you I have bills here my mortgage is due next month and that was my money for my bills not to just give a contractor not to do any work for me thank you

    7/21/2023 *********************** came to ************************************** ********* ******* and took my $900 and never did a job he didn't have a contract when I asked him after he took my money he said his aunt typed one up and that he'd bring it back that afternoon and when we called him he started to deface my integrity and my sons I'm on a fixed income at 66 years old and I'm a lady that lives on social security money and now I have really no money he didn't do his job he left and after he started being rude my son said there's no way we're paying him and I don't want him back in the house I do not think he's stable my son said he thinks he's on something he told me that he's not giving me my money back I am contacting you to please help me I don't have the money to go find an attorney and I don't have the money to do the job anymore I don't know what to do and that's why I came to you I appreciate your help in any that you can do for me I quite frankly I'm a little afraid of him ?? thank goodness that I made him sign a receipt for the money that I did give him he put his driver's license down and his social security number you will see that on the line spiral notebook piece of paper I wrote that up and he signed it I have no contract I don't think he's bonded licensure insured and when I asked him about a permit then he really went off the deep end on the phone screaming at us my son said I can't have you at our job I'm sorry just pay my mom back and then he went crazy on us he kept flipping me off in a text too he's a terrible person & should not being business I hope this doesn't happen to the next person ever I hope he can't hurt someone else like he didn't mean or take advantage you know that's all you say desired settlement desired settlement come on stupid thing

    *********************** he keeps saying that he took his week off work to come to the job at my son's father's house here's proof enclosed that he didn't take work off anything he had an open schedule I'm trying to do the best I can to send you facts I'm only 66 years old and he took thorough advantage of me I appreciate any and all of your time thank you
