    I purchased 2 containers from G & G. When I purchased them they couldn't show me which ones that would be delivered but showed me examples of the ones to be delivered. They were suppose to be storage ready, water tight. I looked at the examples and they were storage ready and water tight. Doors could be closed and dark inside. when the first one was delivered I called the guy and said that the container was not storage ready nor water tight. Was told take it or leave it. Doors are messed up, there are holes in the ceiling, 1st container is not usable at all. 2nd container has some damage but is usable. Have asked for replacement for 1st container was told that was one I approved and laughed at me. All I want is to get another container that is storage ready, water tight and usable. I paid $3000 for each container plus $300 to have each delivered.

       The person of interest came to our place of business after hours wanting to buy storage containers.   When he was told we were closed and to come back during business hours, he stated he was homeless and in real need.  Feeling sorry, he was escorted to the storage units  to look them over.  He selected the two he wanted and marked them as sold.  He then came back in the office and paid for the two units.  They were to be delivered the following day but then said he was not ready for them.  After six months he called for delivery.  They were delivered to a place that was suppose to be accessible butt were not, resulting in tearing down a power line.  Later that week he called stating that one of the units was not waterproof and door was bent.  They were both in the same shape as they were when he purchased them.  He was told he bought them months ago and we would not replace them.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Everything they have stated on there is a lie except I did purchase 2 containers but my wife paid for them at a later date.  I went there on a Saturday, which they are open on Saturdays.  I did not tell them I was homeless.  If I was homeless how would I have the money to pay for containers and then wait 6 months to get them delivered?  I was told to go look at some containers and that the ones that would be delivered would look like or similar to the ones I looked at.  I did not pick out two containers and put a sold on them.  The area was accessible but the driver did not know what he was doing.  It took weeks to get the first container delivered.  Vendor kept having issues with the driver being able to deliver first container.  After several calls were made before second one was delivered.  It was not a power line taken down but a phone line on a city street.  That was driver error not mine.

      Once again, The gentleman is false in his statement.  First his wife did not come to make a payment.  Payment was made by him the day he bought the containers.  We are not open on weekends, he came on a Thursday.  Also the customer gave a different address for delivery that was stated in the quote and was not charged the extra fee for delivery to the second address.  We feel we went above and beyond for this customer out of pity for the story he gave.  The customer did get the containers he was shown and delivered.   They were the only two container's on the lot at the time.

    I am rejecting this response because:  The person that is responding is not someone I ever meet while dealing with this company.  I have attached a copy of the invoice and the check that was used to pay for these 2 containers.  As you will be able to see, the invoice was dated March 24, 2023.  The check is dated May 24, 2023 and signed by my wife.  I never said my wife paid that day.  They are saying I paid for the containers the day I was there.  Well I have shown proof that my wife did in fact write the check for the containers.  I never went in there and told them I was homeless.  I do not know where they got or came up with that story.  Bottom line it took them at least 2 weeks to finally get the containers delivered when I notified them I was ready for them.  They would not show when they said they would and the containers they delivered do not look anything like the containers I looked at back in March.  I am on over-the-road truck driver and stopped in and talked to them on a weekend about the containers and was told they would also deliver them on the weekend.  They were paid well in advance for the containers and delivery.  All I wanted was to get containers that were water proof and use them for storage.  I don't understand why they are not being honest in their story.  The first container that was delivered was badly damaged and will take much time to get fixed.  All I want is to get either the container replaced or at least enough money back to get it repaired.

    Better Business Bureau:


    I would like to reject the offer of Mediation for complaint ID *********  I feel that Mediation would not help at this point.  The vendor has not been honest from the start and the $100 that I would have to pay for mediation I will use to try and starts repairs on the most badly damaged container so I can store my items before winter sets in.  Thank you for your time and effort in this matter.
