      About 2 weeks ago I made a purchase of an item that cost 80 dollars. A double ended vibrating dong. When I got it home I put brand new energizer batteries in it and turned it on. It immediately shut off. I did this several times and it continued to shut off after maybe 5 seconds. I went to return the item and was told that several customers had returned the item for the same exact reason. There were 3 others on the shelf and the clerk tried them all, same problem. He then called other cirilla stores and told them to remove the product from the shelf. I was informed that I could only get a store credit, which I believe is absolutely ridiculous seeing as how it was known that this was a defective item. This was the only thing I wanted out of the store, now I'm being told that I have to spend 80 dollars on things that I don't want when I was knowing sold a bad product. This goes against the *** act and I would like a full refund

      There was a problem with the item in question however, once it was brought to the attention of the seller it was pulled off the sales floor. We were not actively selling a known defective item.

       Upon speaking with customer via phone, she explained her issue. I **** ( Area Manager ) I explained our policy of exchange item or receive in-store credit. Customer was not happy with our policy. I then called several stores to see if any other locations had this product that she wanted but no other store had it in stock. At this time I called customer back and agreed as a one time deal, we would provide her a full refund. This refund was issued to her in person at our location on 3/26/2024.
