    Our neighbors got a tree cut down. We gave the tree company access to our driveway to get to the tree. The footer on their truck caved in a section of our driveway about 3 ft by 3 ft. We contacted them they admitted to guilt they came out and inspected it said it was their fault and they would fix it. That was May 2022 and they claimed it would be after the heat of the summer they would fix it. They are now ignoring our phone calls.

    Hello. I am sorry and I apologize from ** being in this position. His complaint about a **** on the drive is true. The crew was advised to order the material and do it in the cool weather. I personally would like to take the blame for not double checking to make sure that this was done . We have every intention to do the repair and try to rectify any bad feelings. I truly do care.

    I am reaching out because of my complaint #******** against Mid-western tree experts. I was confused on how to click on the link to accept or reject their statement. I accept he responded but I reject that his response is true or genuine. And was worried if I clicked on the wrong thing I would loose my opportunity to answer your questions.

    I first contacted Mid-western tree experts the begining of June 2022 about the hole in my driveway and they said they would come look at it. A couple days later he said they had inspected it and yes it was their fault and his son would repair it ASAP. I later came to find out nobody from his business came out, they actually just had my neighbor take pictures. I continued to have contact with him until July with him saying he would fix it, then he told me that it was too hot out for his son to pour the asphalt. I waited and contacted him again in August to arrange it for the fall time. At this point he gave me the number of his son and told me to contact him directly. I reached out to the son who never responded to my text messages or phone calls. I contacted the dad multiple times asking about it and verifying the son's number and he continued to blame the lack of action on his son. This kept up through the fall time which at that point both the son and father weren't answering my phone calls or text messages. I continued to try to get a hold of them with no answer, took a break till after the holidays, and reached out in February and got the father on the phone, at this point I told him I was going to contact an attorney and the BBB, he once again blamed it on his son and said he would contact me. 

    Then they both were again not answering my calls or text messages. At this point I contacted the BBB in hopes of finding a resolution. I have also consulted an asphalt person in the meantime who has told me that this is not a patch job. The fact that they refer to it as a **** on my driveway is misinformation. This is a pot hole. The damage is over 3x3ft  and the hole in 4in deep at its maximum. And it's thankfully in a place where no one has to drive so we aren't wearing at it, just the weather. The asphalt guy I consulted with said that this isn't a patch job and needs to be handled by a driveway company not a tree company.

    So yes we had came to a resolution, no they did not keep up their end of it. I do not know why but it's not because they forgot. They made a choice to screen our communications. The original resolution is not sufficient for me anymore. After educating myself of the nature of the damage done and seeing how their business operates I do not want them doing a patch job on what needs to be a tear out. I also was supposed to get my driveway worked on last year and had to put off the job because of it. Which I can't put off another year as I bought a long vacant house and have been repairing it with 2022 supposed to be the year for the driveway needing done and it's only getting worse.

    Thanks for listening this has been a very frustrating situation. I was trying to be neighborly with my new neighbors. The father from Mid-western tree experts came to my house to ask for access  to my drive, gave me his card and he assured me that should anything happen while I gave them access to my property he would take care of it. This was for several days so it wasn't brief and it was a highly intrusive situation so we had to work with each other to get in and out of the driveway, communication with them was difficult and there were several interactions where the son would blame his dad for things. Its a very strange family dynamic. Almost every interaction with them one was blaming the other for something. Him "taking the blame for not double checking" is him still not taking the blame. In no way do I find his response genuine. 

    Please let me know what I should do next and I appreciate your time.

    Hello. I am sorry that we are in this position is clearly my fault alone not my sons. I have verify with my son that he has never once spoken to you. Theres a few things you have not correct here but the most important thing is that we did for the ****** and indention in your driveway and it is nothing more than a repair that can be done by anybody. I have never once dodged your phone call. Any time that I seen that you were calling I would answer. Im not interested in pointing fingers anymore because the fact is your driveway has a **** on it from us I would like resolve this issue and have my guys to do the very simple simple repair.

    I want to have a professional fix the damage correctly. If you would reimburse me for the repair, that would be ideal. I've talked with you multiple times for over 9 months. You did not follow through with our agreement and I do not trust you to handle this repair professionally or in a timely fashion.

    You have a right to feel this way, I dont blame you. But I do promise youre Opinion of me couldnt be further from the truth. I will be dropping a certified cashiers check off for $500 which is probably three times what it would take to repair the small area. Once you receive the check if it is not cashed within 72 hours. It will be no good. This helps us make sure that we do not have a check floating around into the wrong hands. I dont know you and you do not really know me only an opinion of me from what you have seen I have a very big heart and very giving. I hope the homeless and the needy thats what I was put here to do. I really am sorry.

    As long as you are under the full understanding that I am not approving anything more than $500 which is three times what it cost to repair this. If the cost is $501, I will not approve it and the insurance company will have to be involved. And then they were saying that their own people to get. A quote on the small repair. Thats how this will work.
