First week of August we brought a ***** 3 in for an engine light. The service told my girlfriend it was the thermostat and they needed to order a part to fix it. They ordered the part and four days later installed it. We were charged $400 for that. A week or so later, the engine light came back on. I called a family friend and had them scan for the codes on the car. The issue was the thermostat we just replaced. We brought the car back to Reveless so they would honor the warranty on the device they installed and they lied about what the problem was and tried to charge us another $300 to fix it.

    To whom it may concern,

On this date of 08/06/2024 Ms. ****** ******** had brought her ***** i3 for an inspection due to a check engine light, upon inspection we came to the consensus that the code was due to a faulty thermostat. We contacted Ms. ******** and informed her of her issue. She agreed to replace the thermostat. Later on the date of 08/15/2024 Ms. ******** had brought her vehicle back due to the same code coming back on her vehicle. Upon further inspection we were able to find she had an antifreeze leak going on her coolant reservoir. We contacted Ms. ******** to inform her of the issue and explain that due to the vehicle losing coolant the thermostat would not be able to properly function due to the incorrect amount of coolant in the system. Ms. ******** alleged partner later on contacted us very upset that we were not able to anticipate the reservoir would leak in the future when the vehicle was brought over to us on the first inspection. customer decided not to fix coolant leak for us to continue with the diagnostic. Customer decided to pick up their vehicle as is.
