The representative that answered the phone was so rude and condescending. I asked why he was calling and he said you called us. I let him know that someone from that number JUST called and left a voicemail and I was returning it! The address that he had was from an address over 10 years ago and the vehicle taxes werent due because I didnt even own it at the time. He said that I need to call the County that is owed and file a dispute, gave me a number and hung up on me. I googled the phone number and several out of the country names came up! Dont believe what they say, call the company that they are supposedly calling for.

I understand that businesses such as AFCS may not be in the happiest of sectors, but that doesn't excuse treating individuals with disrespect and refusing to answer questions. Additionally, if someone owes money for something legitimate, it undercuts the validity of any money owed by being condescending, demeaning, demanding, and rude. Legitimate businesses don't behave in such a manner. The be blunt, the only reason this is a review instead of a formal complaint is because I was able to call back at a different time and have a positive, more fully explained interaction with *******. My first interaction with ******* was belligerent and confusingnot a stance any business should want to take with the public. My advice: if you find yourself being treated with disrespect, hang up immediately and contact the original credit to try and resolve the issue without AFCS. If you must, call back until you get someone who is a bit more pleasant on the phone, like *******. It makes all the difference in the world.I would not recommend this business to anyone, and as a business owner I would (and have) found other, more customer-friendly companies to recover accounts receivable.
