While the apartment itself was clean and comfortable, my overall experience with Travel Stay Indy was frustrating and stressfuland I would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable corporate housing. From the beginning, communication was a problemespecially during urgent situations. On my scheduled move-in day, I couldnt get in touch with my landlord for hoursno responses to texts or callsleaving me without any clear direction. I tried to be patient and accommodating, but this pattern repeated itself too many times.I wasnt able to move in for 15 days and had to bounce between hotels, which was both inconvenient and costly. Later in my stay, my rentwhich was supposed to include utilitiesdidnt cover an overage during an unprecedented Dallas cold front. Instead of informing me, my landlord simply let the balance go unpaid for two months, and my power was shut off. There was also a sink issue that made my kitchen unusable for almost two months, and again, communication and urgency around repairs were ********** not saying that every problem was entirely their fault. But even when I tried to handle things reasonablyincluding sending two emails after my stay trying to come to a mutual understandingI was completely ignored. To this day, no one has followed up.Thats why Im writing this review. STAY AWAY if you value responsiveness, professionalism, and peace of mind. One nice apartment is not worth the ongoing stress and lack of support.

Avoid ************************* and TravelStay Indy!! I have never had such a terrible experience with any rental property! This man is a liar and a thief! He stole my $1000 security deposit after telling me it would be returned within 30 days. I went so far as to file a police report because I felt harassed by this man! DO NOT give him any of your personal information or money!

Where do I begin. initially contacted ************************* via FF to get pricing. Was too high and he contacted me 3 more times and finally settled. was told I would be placed in a 1B1B and was shown 5 units when asked to see place prior to arrival. Was paying 1bed bath but in a studio. did not have AC, windows didnt open, no fan. after 1.5 months and the temp inside reaching 91 I was fed up and told him something needed to be done. He suggested I just stay with him as he lived next unit over. was incredibly inappropriate for a landlord tenant relationship. Many creepy passes. finally moved me to new unit in new building. Was not cleaned at all when I arrived. Did not have cutlery, wifi and tried to raise my rent $300. post move out told me I would have my security deposit by 1st of next month. Waited said amount of time. But he came up with excuse after excuse and then blocked my number. had to file a lawsuit to get money back. A true narcissist who preys on travelers Working with BBB to eliminate this happening to others

I must leave a one star as I am not able to leave a zero. This owner preys on traveling medical professionals. The rents and fees will change once negotiations start. Parking that you were told was included is now $125 a month. The pets that were allowed are now $25 each per month, after the additional deposit. I was charged a $350 cleaning fee but the place was filthy when I moved in. Broken blinds and a landlord unwilling to do anything to correct the problem. I've seen better appointed college bachelor pads. 1 spoon. A saucepan. A small wok. No mugs. 3 glasses. 3 bowls and a few plates. That's about it. I am STILL WAITING on the return of my deposit although it's been 90 days and I left the place better than I found it, although, that wasn't really hard to do. I have had to contact the state Attorney General to force him to pay up. Save yourself the headache and rent from someone else. Oh! I almost forgot the best part. He left me a threatening video after I left him an honest review. It was a video of the apartment after I left with the song "Ambition for Cash" playing In the background. Don't know the song? Look it up. That will tell you all you need to know about this guy.Check Yelp for more reviews
