Crossroads was hired to level my slab foundation. Their plan showing the path of my duct work in the foundation was left out in my first quote and drawn hastily and was incorrect in the updated quote. They should have taken the time to understand this in more detail. As a result, the technician drilled directly into one of my ducts and filled the duct resulting in no heat or cooling to one of my bedrooms. (I know this as a second company verified the direct drill).
Before doing the work, they told me foam could seep into a pinhole of a duct, not that they could drill directly into my duct. When told, they gave me a new quote to remove the foam from the duct that was nearly as expensive as the initial foundation leveling quote. In other words, they were going to profit from a problem they created in the first place. I've been asked by another homeowner in our neighborhood if I had a company to recommend for similar work. I could not recommend Crossroads. At a minimum, I would think Crossroads would recommend a solution at cost, instead of profiting from their mistake. They did not offer any other solutions. I would think that this has happened previously and they would be helpful and recommend other companies / options to fix this problem at minimal cost.

crossroads foundation repair *************************** The first day they ripped the electric service off my well system and knocked over my bladder tank and busted a water line. Instead of having a well company fix it they wanted to save money and fix it themselves. 3 days with no water service. We have three dogs and three people live here. They continually left gate open for dogs to escape so we missed a day and a half of work each. When I received their first invoice I questioned about not giving us at least a discount on the mess they made and also the 3 days of no water and having to m8ss work. I was asked to explain how I was inconvenienced. They finally offered 400 off which doesn't even cover the time we missed work. They treated us like we were trying to get over on them. Since then they won't provide an invoice that shows the work done on my ************* They also didn't pull permits and none of the work was inspected to make sure the system was working properly. Never seen the site manager or even spoke to them. They also waited 4 hours the first day to even think about looking into getting my water fixed. It made it real complicated because of the language barrier and the company not wanting to give us any information or even trying to help. It's been a week now and still haven't received the invoice. Now all the sudden they want to do inspections and drag this out even more. They dragged their feet since day one and made sure we knew that they in no way were going to make anything right. Worse company I've ever dealt with, and will never get over how we were treated, especially by the office staff and the sales guy. I gave up dealing with them and asked to get the invoice because they were unapologetic and unprofessional.

****, we do apologize for the negative experience you have had with our staff at Crossroads Foundation Repair. Unfortunately, issues like hitting unmarked private utility lines can happen in construction. We call 811 on all projects to have public utilities located. However, private lines do not get located with this service. Per our contract, any unmarked private lines that are hit are not our responsibility. Even though our contract states that private utilities are not our responsibility, we tried to help the customer by contracting a licensed electrical company to replace the damaged line at no cost to you.We also purchased and brought water to your home for you and your animals and offered to purchase a hotel room while your water was down. The offer was declined. We also offered a larger compensation for your inconvenience. Our staff strives to take care of our customers so asking for your perspective on the circumstance and what inconveniences you had, is not uncommon. Permits are pulled when needed, however this one fell through the cracks. We have contacted the city to apply for the necessary permits, however, the customer is not wanting us to return to the home to comply with the inspection process. Once again, we strive to avoid issues like this but also do our best to supply an alternative option to the customer when unforeseen things happen.

I did not hire them because **** told me within 5 minutes of looking at the problem, that even tho my issue was with one area only, he'd treat the whole house because he has a "minimum job he has to hit and he's got over head and is not coming out for $1,000". Tells me they run the bill up to what they need to cover that overhead even if a cheaper, easier fix is warranted. I only see glowing reviews of this company online and I think my experience needs to be documented.

I apologize you were not happy with our price. We do have a job minimum as we cover a large area of the state, in order to remain profitable and in business for our customers we must have a job minimum. We always offer to complete more work to meet the minimum, however if you do not like the minimum price we would suggest looking into a small local company in your area.
