    I ordered my womb chair during black friday in 2023 and paid around $1467. They said it would be 6-8 weeks. Nine weeks later, I emailed them asking what was going on, they said there were delays. Then it was delayed another 4 months before it finally showed up, only after I emailed them checking in about it. When I opened the box, it was the wrong color and the wrong fabric - a bright green, when it was supposed to be a dark green. When I contacted them, they took their time getting back to me, and when they finally answered, they offered a discount. I told them that wasn't good enough, since this is the most expensive piece of furniture I have ever purchased, it's large and it's not the color I ordered. Several weeks later someone called me and they said the transaction was 'expired' so they couldn't refund me. I told them to send me a full refund via ******. This person agreed and said they would let me know when payment was sent. Weeks go by, I don't hear from them. I have to consistently follow up. They went back on the full refund, keep saying "transaction has expired" and now they are not responding to me. I'm writing this review several months later, trying to give them a chance. This is a fraudulent company. I would not do business with them. There is no accountable or integrity on their end. I have a small business and I know how refunds work. You can give them at any time.

    I left a review on their website before I filed a complaint with BBB last night. After I filed, I went back to the website to see my review and it had been deleted. It looks to me like these reviews are fake and you are unable to leave more reviews (at least ones that are negative). There may be a delay cause they need to review it, but there was no message communicating that. Once I clicked on submit, my review appeared on the listing page, next to the other reviews. It's misleading and in my opinion, the company is not operating under an ethical standard.

    We're here to help! Manhattan Home Design was under previous ownership until June 2024. The original owner had a very different approach to customer service and stock-level management than our new and current owner and team. Sorry for your poor experience under the original owner. I understand our WH Manager (***) spoke with you on the phone yesterday and offered several remedial options.

    To recap those options:

    1. Replacement for correct item
    2. Store credit for in stock item
    3. Partial refund to keep as is
