This was by far the most unprofessional and disorganized company *** ever worked for. Over the course of a year, I saw six employees come and go yet leadership continues to place blame on the people they hire instead of taking accountability for the toxic environment theyve created.I should have taken the hint during my interview, when the President stated that *********-******** will look good on a resume. That comment now makes complete sense in hindsight. On my first day, the owner briefly showed me to my office, asked me to log in, and left there was absolutely no onboarding, no orientation, no training, and no support. The issues only compounded from there. During my first weekly meeting, the President made an extremely inappropriate and offensive remark about immigrants. Telling one of the PMs that the subcontractor should drive down ************* and hire an illegal, since they crawl on your vehicle like ants. He also routinely belittled employees and called them out in front of others. He often gave direction and later denied ever doing so, leaving employees confused and set up to fail. There is zero structure or consistency in leadership. Projects rarely finish on time, and internal communication is a mess. The *** and President often gave conflicting instructions. She signed the presidents name on bid documents which I consider highly unethical. The culture is completely contradictory we were told to socialize more, then stared down when we did. After submitting my resignation, I was asked to create a list of my pending tasks. They also refused to pay out my unused PTO, claiming a policy that I was never shown, as I was never given an employee handbook or proper documentation during my time there. My requests for a copy of this policy were ignored.
