    I am looking to file a complaint against ***********************, owner of Phoenix Quartz and Grantie, also E&E Marble and Granite, and also Granite E&E Marble and Granite. All basically the same company but hidden behind different names.I have used ***** in the past and did a nice job. I contacted him 2+ years after that initial job for an outdoor kitchen job. He quickly responded, came out to measure, gave me a quote and price. I told him yes and chose him. This was on 5/31. On 6/1/22, I gave him a down payment of $2400 to purchase the granite and he said he would start the following week.Long story short, he never showed up and stopped responding. I filed a police report in July and he was contacted by the ******** ************* (*******) to pay me back. He texted me he would send me a money order but never occurred. After another 10+ phone calls, 25+ text messages to 2 different phone numbers - I still have not got a response. I also got confirmation he did this same thing to a parent of one of my friends who I originally got his contact info from. I ended up hiring someone else to do the granite work and confirmed he never purchased the granite, contacted the granite place to buy the granite or even attempt to do the work. Police said they cannot arrest him because he has done work for me in the past and still has not "legally" stolen from me. It's been 3 1/2 months with no response, no payment back and no resolution.
