  ARC Fitness is truly a remarkable gym, with an energy that is contagious and a community of real life people all working towards becoming better versions of themselves. As a small local business, **** the owner has poured his heart into helping people understand and navigate health in a meaningful way. To remove the anxiety of gym and empower all clients to have confidence with exercise. Because of this whole person approach, the client transformations are just as remarkable. For those who are willing and ready to change this is the gym that will not only get you to your goals, but more importantly teach you how to maintain an effective and sustainable healthy lifestyle.

  First, we joined ARC Fitness in October 2022. At the end of August 2023, ARC Fitness doubled their prices with no notice or communication that membership fees would be increasing. We saw the price increase when our credit card was auto-charged. We looked through our inbox and SPAM folders but could not find any communication, nor was anything posted inside the gym to alert us to price changes. The only communication we saw was an announcement about a rebrand on instagram, but that did not include the increase in price. Next, we chose to freeze my membership in November 2023 due to health issues. In January 2023, our card was auto-charged for both memberships. We emailed to ask them to reverse the charge, the email went unanswered. So, my husband went into the gym to talk to someone and was tossed from person to person for a couple days. Finally, he was able to talk to the owner and said we want the charge reversed and to move forward with canceling my membership.At the request to cancel my membership, the owner said we could not cancel because we entered into a 6-month agreement when the price was changed in August 2023. Once again, we had no idea that prices were doubling and we definitely did not sign a new contract. My husband asked the owner to produce a copy of the contract, which he was unable to do. We were also told that the coaches met with every member 1:1 to discuss the price changes that fall. However, we never had that meeting nor were we contacted to schedule a meeting. The gym has agreed to give us a refund after almost a week of attempts, and only after making it very clear that management believed we were in the wrong to ask for the incorrect charge to be reversed. This gym has so much potential, but lousy management and borderline unethical business practices are holding it back.
