  The One Hour technician told my 90 year old parents they needed a new furnace/ac. The unit was 15 years old. After diagnosing the bearings were going out on the inducer motor, there was a bad pressure switch and water was leaking down the flu. They told them they would have to get the parts from ******* and that *** take a long time. My dad has mild dementia and my mom was trying to make the decisions. Then the company insisted on putting it in 2 days later before the end of the month. She told them sometime the next week would be fine. So it was supposed to be installed 2 days later. She called me that night telling me about it. Now this was going to be over $10,000. I told them they were not going to do that. I would take care of it as I am POA. They try to be independent. I called One Hour and told the technician I wanted to cancel the installation and I will figure out what they need done. I told him they can't afford that. He said he could check on discounts and get it lowered. I said no thank you. I called a company that I have used in the past. They came out that day. The technician found the plug to the pc board broken off and the inducer motor was making some noise but not bad. Flu was initially installed by One Hour incorrectly. Long story short he called to see if they had parts (inducer motor, pressure switch, and pc board). Parts were available. He went to pick them up and installed them for $550. Be aware of the large companies. They lie and cheat customers. I actually work with some people that used to work for 2 of these companies and they quit. They were told to sell units not repair them if they didn't have to. Unfortunately older people and women are targeted and it makes me furious! Use the smaller companies at least they are honest.

  Weve been using them for years now for bi-annual service and HVAC repairs. Their techs are always courteous and efficient. We had Jaydon here today for our fall service check and he performed flawlessly. Great job guys.
