      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the mishandling of my out-of-pocket (OOP) prescription drug claim, which has resulted in an unnecessary denial despite my full compliance with the submission process as instructed by Anthem representatives and documentation.After filling a prescription at CVS an in-network pharmacy, I was told by Anthem that, for reimbursement, I needed to submit a paper claim form. While this process is already inconvenient in an era of digital claims, I followed instructions carefully. I completed the form with the assistance of an Anthem agent over the phone and mailed the form to the exact address provided on the claim ******* my surprise and frustration, I have now received a denial notice stating that the claim was sent to the incorrect address. I was then instructed to resubmit the entire claim to a completely different address in *****This is unacceptable. I followed all of Anthems directions and submitted my claim in good faith, to the address printed on your own form and confirmed by your representative. For my claim to be denied on the basis of an internal error or outdated instructions provided by Anthem is not only unreasonable, it creates an undue burden on the member.

      Very disappointed in lack of payment for well over 60 days for 30+ claims. I have spent hours on the phone working to resolve the issues with lack of payment, but I have continued to be passed off with pacifying answers that continue to push my issue back further. I was told to call back after 45 days, then after a 14-day 'promise note,' when they guaranteed to have an answer, and now they went past that date as well. No one can tell me the claims failed or passed, but they remain pending with no answer. Very disappointed.

      This is the worst health insurance I've ever had. They will dictate your care and go against your doctor's recommendations. The appeals process is a complete farce. Anthem used to be a well respected insurer but l would NOT recommend them anymore.

      Every single month they send mail to a person at my address who has not lived here in 8 years. Every single month I'm transferred up to 5 times to someone who apologizes and says they're sorry (yes, they are but not in an apologetic way) and promise this time and this time and this time my address will be taken off their mailing list. Getting a hold of a supervisor is an impossibility as they are always to busy, in a meeting, not available, will call back, etc. For something as simple as this that is not done it's no wonder they have an F rating.

      I called the member services number on the back of the ** card and, instead of helping me with my somewhat urgent question, they first tried to sell me ********** Then, I was transferred to one of those automated scam robocall messages that make you think they are a real person with a pause after they ask how you are doing. I was never able to talk to anyone about my question. It was the worst experience ever with customer service.

      I am sure the only star that ever gets clicked here is the one star. They should not be allowed to operate as a business with such poor business practices. I paid to have them as my disability insurance provider for 6 years. Upon the advice of two doctors, I was encouraged to take a medical leave from my employer as a result of severe panic attacks, massive chest pains, and a severe lack of sleep. I went through my employer and got the approval for ****. When I filed the claim for short-term disability they denied the claim. I filed an appeal which took them four months to review. Despite wasting several real medical practitioners' time by having them fax, yes I said fax, over medical records, they also subjected them to peer reviews. The shill that did the review was much like Anthem in the sense that he had one-star reviews. His professional opinion was that panic attacks, less than three hours of sleep per night for over a month, and major chest pains should not have prevented me from working. It is criminal what these people get away with. No one in their right mind would seek medical care from a doctor with a 1-star rating, yet his opinion trumps that of two 4-star medical practitioners who see the patient and prescribe the remedies. I pray these people go out of business. I can't believe some people would want to work for these organizations. My issue was solely based on getting paid what I was owed, others on here could lose their life as a result of the decisions made by this disgraceful company.

      My child is 13 and has severe cramps that send her to the hospital. They took almost 3 months to ok a birth control after her ** sent multiple orders for different ones that were denied. They also took away her ******* inhaler and gave her nose spray ******* to use instead??? It took a couple months to get that back. They also won't cover hardly any medication given by **s. ********** was much better. Some of their customer service has no clue and are rude.

      Deserves NO Stars! This is in regards to Anthem Blue Cross of IN and the way they treat their providers horribly! I spoke with an overseas agent (Ref# I-********) just to verify coverage. The agent couldn't carry on a conservation using the wrong words to explain things & then misquoted me benefits. I held for an hour for a supervisor AND still wasn't given one. I asked for an on-shore agent & was refused a transfer. Stay Away from this company if you're a provider in *******!!

      I am home my civil rights violated by their transportation company. They will not accommodate my need for ramp to walk up into SUV with my ******. I am unable to climb in. I have reported this numerous times with grievances but ****** won't make them comply so they are violating my civil rights too.

      These scum suckers think they can pull the wool over my shoulders, I signed up with this place around 8 months ago, the agent that sent me to a Dr that accepted anthem for two visits refused to pay one red cent, now I'm stuck with a bill that I can't pay, so I don't recommend these scam artists to anyone, I'll take my happy (_!_) somewhere else that doesn't pull this BS, I was eligible because I'm totally disabled and can't work anymore, so anthem can go to the caverns down below ?? they can take this establishment and shove it up their (_!_)
