    I am an insurance agent and I have a contractor client that is trying to get paid and the company they are doing work for (and trying to get payment from) uses MY COI. My COI keeps sending us emails requesting WE click on their link to complete what requirements are needed. Being an insurance agency, i do not allow my team to click on ANY external links that we do not trust, including this one. I have told MY COI verbally and via email a number of times now that we do not do business this way, we will not click on any links, and they need to work with us directly, but they CONTINUE TO BADGER US WITH LINKS AND NOT CALL, AND THEREFORE ARE HOLDING UP THE PAYMENT OF MY CONTRACTOR! We've already provided them with a COI directly, and our particular policy pays claims on a "per occurrence" basis, but then they came back to us and said it needs to say "per project". They do not seem to understand insurance language, or whomever is checking these certificates maybe doesn't understand that there are quite a number of different policy types, and they all vary. If you are a business, find another way to handle COI's. These people are awful.
