I purchased 2 ***** of firewood (4' x 8') on September 14, 2023. The wood was delivered the same day. Cost $324.10 including delivery. When I stacked the wood in my 4' x 8' wood frames the ***** were short by 13" X 8' roughly ***** logs approx 16" long. I called the company and they refused to make up for the shorted *****. I offered to pick up the shorted amount of wood and they refused. Said they measure out "bags" of wood that amount to a **** (they don't actually stack the wood)... but obviously when stacked in an 8 X 4 wood frame it is short!!

************** ordered ******** from us on 9-28-2022. We delivered his firewood to him on that date. He called us afterwards and told us that he was shorted about a quarter **** of firewood. We apologized and told him if he wanted to come to our location, we would let him pick up - free of any additional charge - a quarter **** of **** to make up for what he said he was shorted.

Fast forward about a year later. ************** called and ordered a **** of firewood to be delivered. We were aware of the issue from the previous year and made extra effort to ensure that the proper amount of wood was delivered to this customer. Our driver was aware of the previous situation with **************, and he also took extra care to make sure he took the correct amount of wood to the customer.

The attachment shows the photos and the message that the driver sent here to the office after he was loaded. He has delivered wood for us for several years and is familiar with firewood measurement.

We split our firewood into large bags. These bags hold a little over 1 **** of firewood. If you research firewood measurements, you will learn that the only true measurement of firewood is a CORD, which is 128 cubic feet. Stacked a cord would be 4' x 4'  x 8'..

A **** of firewood is not a true measurement. Some sellers will say a **** is 3' x 7', some say 4' x 7'. Most sellers say a **** is 4' x 8' x 16" .This latter measurement means that a **** of **** (also known as a "face cord") would be 1/3 of a cord. This equates to ***** cubic feet for a ****. The **** delivered to ************** came from firewood bags that hold more than ***** cubic feet.

We feel that ************** has received the proper amount of firewood from us.

"I believe the Green Gang is wrong in their method of measuring wood in bags via cubic feet and calling it a ****.  I have bought firewood for 17 years and have never had a company do this. The way you measure a **** is to stack it into a frame that is 8'x4'x 16" (which the Green Gang has acknowledged).

I have stacked the wood they sent me in two 8' x 4" **** frames. And for two seasons they have shorted me 1/4 ****. My guess is other customers do not stack the wood they sell them. They assume they are honest. This is not the case. Please come over and measure the ****'s you delivered and you will see they are truly short by the time-tested method of stacking firewood in 8' x 4' x16" frames.

This Green ************ perhaps unknowingly is not being honest; your bags are not full *****! Simply take one of your bags and stack it in a 8' x 4' x 16" rack and you will see you are shorting customers (yes, it will take time and effort, I know, I stacked them)."
