Dear ************************************************ Team,This letter serves as a formal complaint and refund demand regarding the grossly unprofessional and unacceptable service I received on June 11, 2025, for the scheduled ************** event mobile video display. Despite paying your company in full on June 10th at 10:00 AMbased on your representations via text message that the display would be a double-sided 8x10 LED screen with ****** ***** of audio capable of being heard from two blocks awaythe actual service delivered was an outright failure. What was provided instead was a poorly branded, unidentifiable U-Haul vehicle with no company markings, no visible promotional material, and critically deficient audio and visual quality. The display failed to meet any reasonable expectation of visibility or audibility. I documented the deficiencies with video evidence and texted real-time updates to your team for nearly two hours, expressing urgent concerns about the failure to deliver what was agreed upon.I attempted to resolve this matter amicably and professionally earlier today via text and email. However, the tone and conduct of your representative were not only dismissive but outright disrespectful. Following that conversation, I made the decision to cancel the June 13th showing immediately.Your failure has not only disrupted a high-visibility media rollout but has also caused reputational harm to my company and label. Your lack of professionalism, failure to deliver, and refusal to provide a viable corrective action plan leave me with no choice but to proceed with formal complaints to the Better Business Bureau, pursue civil remedies through small claims court, and consult my legal counsel for damages if this matter is not resolved *************** have until June 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST to respond and issue the requested refund and written apology before legal proceedings are formally initiated.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/17/2025

    To whom it may concern:
In response to the false complaint #23462246 against Billboards N Motion made by Mr. Danny Portee, we have enclosed our response to dispute this claim.
Attached is our contract with Mr. Portee, dated June 7th, which contradicts the size of the LED display screens he purchased. Please keep in mind that the contract Mr. Portee signed, the LED display was sized 8'L x 6'H, which he argues is false. The contract agreement he signed and paid for from Billboards N. Motion was not the 10'L x 8' H he claimed to have purchased in his complaint.
Moreover, my email dated June 12, and June 13 is attached, which Mr. Portee agreed to the LED display be upgraded to a dimension of 10'L x 8'H and that a louder sound system be installed for this event at no additional cost. He later REFUSED.
In addition, Billboards N Motion extended an offer to provide a 60% discount for the later event: however, Mr. Portee refused due to his frustration with my disagreement with him regarding NO sound system from the 8'L x 6'H system he did not purchase from the contract agreement, but we provided the sound system at no additional fee.

    Respectfully,

    Lawrence Johnson
    President
    Billboards N Motion
