1 starWheaton moved my 6 bedroom home from Lbk TX to ********* **. I wish I had read these reviews. They are the most expensive, impolite, and entitled, moving company yet. ***************************** was my adjustor. Please remember this name. She called me to say you ONE YEAR to file a claim. Thankfully, I read my own contract, only had 9 months. She then completely denied my claim altogether, she forgot I had put things in storage and moved some things to my apartment. She did not forget to charge me extra for the two different arms to the move though. After going thru that episode with her, then came the 7 mos of wasted heart beats and time, I will never get back to go over damages to my cargo. 7 mos to get a mere $1500 for the furniture, my belongings she allowed to be ruined. She is management. multiple calls back and forth and to listen to her carry on, about how I cannot change adjustors, as obviously I do not trust a LIAR. "forgive your enemies, but never forget their names. " remember ***************************** with Wheaton world wide moving company. run dont walk I introduced myself as CUSTOMER TO HER. THE ONE THAT PAYS HER SALARY AND KEEPS HER COMPANY ALIVE.Review fromJonathan C

1 starThese guys are awful. My washer was working fine before they moved it...now it doesn't work and they refuse to take responsibility for it! They don't seem to grasp the concept that mishandling can damage internal electronics which is amazing. I paid a lot for this move, including insurance that they sold me...NEVER AGAIN. Steer clear.Review fromMarsha W

1 starTalk about a bad taste in your mouth!! Our first move with Wheaton went without a glitch. Very happy. Second one was terrible. They lost two bins with expensive shoes in them and claimed that I shouldve gone through every single box, unpacked every single item before the movers left in order to determine whether there was any damage or missing items. How many of you out there think that this is feasible or practical?? When youre moving an entire household, do you think the movers are going to stay around for a week or more to find out whether theres any damage to the *****? Buyer Beware - poor customer service giving the customer no benefit of the doubt! Hey, why in the world would I make up a claim based on two bins missing? I even included all photos what I paid for the items and if I were to sell them what I would get paid. You cant make this stuff up. Advice. If you use them as a moving company I hope you never lose anything or find any damage after the fact, as they will not replace or compensate, you. They seem to always go back to the fine print on their forms as a protection, for not doing the right thing. I will never do business with them again, and will warn everybody I know about this experience. Read more at: *********************************************************************Review fromLisa H

1 starThere are so many pieces of furniture that were damaged in the move. I'm looking at an antique table that belonged to my grandmother that has 2 split legs which they taped together. They are the lowest prices movers for a reason. Whatever you end up saving you are going to spend replacing damages or lost items.Review fromJanine A

1 starI would really like to give them no stars. We hired Wheaton to move us from ************ to ********. We had to put our stuff in storage for 3weeks. When our stuff was delivered, our $3,000 refrigerator was full of mold, and when plugged in it shuts off. We have a $650.00 ice maker that was packed in original packaging, no longer makes ice. We were also missing a whole storage box of expensive kitchen items. They lost the screws to our bed frame. They got the screws for the bed, denied our ice maker, denied my kitchen items and only want to give me $650.00 for my French door refrigerator. We also found a fraudulent charge on our credit card for travel and entertainment for over $600.00. I want to warn people about using this company!Review frommike s

1 starI hired Wheaton in 2020 to move my ******* area home into storage for 2 years while my ************** home was being built. Shame on me for not reading the reviews. Dont make the same mistake.Move in date was February 15th. Many damaged items were immediately more and more was discovered in the days to follow. I opted for the best insurance coverage offered. After thoroughly documenting everything with photos, receipts and descriptions, I submitted a claim for 16 items totaling $3,200. The claims adjuster immediately called out a excerpt from their terms of service policy stating that they have the right to inspect and repair damaged articles. A clause they used to absolve payment despite the indisputable evidence. Contradictory feedback made it clear to me they had no intention of accepting responsibility Just 2 of the aforementioned contradictions: 3 denied were noted by the crew chief of the delivery team which to me checks the inspection box. They did cover 3 items for $665 based solely on photo documentation with no inspection requested. Yet inspection was their sole basis for denying the majority of the claim.I spent over 40K with this company. They used a buried gray area policy with arbitrary application to save $2,300. If this all sounds like just one disgruntled customer, check out the 100+ 1 star ****** reviews and 2 star Yelp rating. That should speak volumes about the integrity of Wheaton Worldwide. Do your due diligence to find a reputable moving company that will treat your belongings with the care they deserve and you with respect.Review fromLois R

1 star***** MOVING MANAGER IN ** WAS VERY ABRASIVE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO ME. THEY NEVER FINISHED PACKING AND INSISTED THAT WHEATON/BEKINS WOULD SHRINK WRAP THE REST. THE ***** FROM WHEATON/BEKINS WAS VERY ARROGANT. WE TOLD HIM SEVERAL TIMES THAT OUR BLACK GRANITE TABLE NEEDED THREE PEOPLE TO MOVE IT. HE TRIED TO MOVE IT WITH HIS SLENDER 17-YEAR-OLD SON AND THEY DROPPED IT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FAMILY ROOM WOODEN FLOOR AND BROKE THE ****** TOP. I DID NOT GET UPSET AT ALL AND TOLD THEM I WAS GLAD THAT NO ONE WAS HURT. HE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR THE MISHAP. THEY ALSO TAPED FLATTENED ***** ON MY 16 STEP STAIRS AND SLID ***** DOWN THE STAIRS WITH A ***** ON THE BOTTOM WHO DID NOT ALWAYS CATCH THE ***** AS THEY WERE TOO HEAVY. THE JARRING FROM THIS MOST LIKELY CAUSED MOST OF THE BROKEN ***** THAT I AM CLAIMING. EVERY PIECE OF MY FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED INCLUDING LEATHER COUCHES AND RECLINERS. ON THE SHIPPING PAPERS THEY SAID THAT EVERY ITEM WAS DAMAGED OR MARKED. MY GLADIATOR GARAGE SHELVES I HAD JUST BOUGHT WERE MARKED WORN AND DAMAGED. ***** WERE ALSO STOLLEN. THEY PUT MY BELONGINGS IN STORAGE FOR A WEEK WHICH PROBABLY ALSO CAUSED SOME OF THE DAMAGE SINCE THEY WERE MOVED TWICE. WHEN THEY DELIVERED MY BELONGLINGS TO MY HOME IN PA THE DRIVERS DROPPED ***** OFF OF THE BACK OF THE ****** THE ***** HAD HIS 11-YEAR-OLD SON USE MY DOLLY TO TAKE THE ***** INTO MY HOUSE AND HE ALMOST TIPPED THINGS OVER SEVERAL TIMES. MY WALLS WERE DAMAGED AND THEY PUT A BIG DENT IN MY KITCHEN FLOOR. THE *****S COULD NOT FIND THE PARTS BOX WHEN THEY CAME TO DELIVER MY ***** AND ASKED ME WHERE IT WAS??? THEY NEVER ASSEMBLED ANY OF THE *****. I FED THEM ALL BREAKFAST AND A HOT LUNCH EVERY DAY AND THE LAST DAY DINNER. I HAVE MOVED MANY TIMES OVER THE ***** AND THIS IS THE WORST MOVE I COULD EVER HAVE IMAGINED. IN MY PREVIOUS MOVES I HAD ONE OR TWO ***** DAMAGED OR BROKEN. IN THIS MOVE I HAD OVER 200 ***** BROKEN OR DAMAGED. THEY REFUNDED ME OF THE COST OF THE DAMAGE. MY MOVED COST ME $25,000!Review fromTERI T

1 starI had a horrible experience with this company. Many unpleasant details, but bottom line is that, once delivered to my current location, almost every piece of furniture had been marred or broken. A heavy-duty, expensive flashlight was also missing. I have three large and expensive dollhouses. They had been wrapped only in thin brown paper, and the porches of two of them have been completely destroyed. When the claim form was submitted, my so called "claims adjuster" denied all damage to the dollhouses and stated that they were damaged at the time of pickup. This is absolutely NOT TRUE! The two pieces of wooden furniture that were broken were said to be worth a whopping $36, not even close to the cost of repairing the items, and claims regarding the dollhouses were marked "denied." I attempted a rebuttal, to no avail. The whole experience has been extremely exhausting. As like most people after an interstate move (I had 2 within 18 months with these clowns), I do not have the energy to go through an arbitration process or to file a legal claim, and I'm sure the company counts on this. So...I am living with damaged goods, but most significant to me is that this is yet another company that lacks any semblance of integrity. How sad is that? It is certainly not the way I live my life, and I suppose I was naive to think that the Wheaton Moving Company might be honest in their dealings with their customers. Again, I emphasize, this company is dishonest and has NO INTEGRITY! And they continue to get away with it. Makes me wonder how my female claims adjuster can go to work with a clear conscience each day. Do not do business with this company! They are horrible! If given a choice, I give them NO stars!Review fromKyle F

1 starDo not do business with this company under any circumstance. They removed my belongings from agreed upon long-term storage without my authorization. A truck driver called me one day randomly from ********** asking where I wanted my stuff, when it was supposed to be safe in ***** in storage. When my stuff was delivered, it looked like it had been kicked from ***** to ***********. Many damages and items treated with disrespect. Additionally, the company lost my bedding tools due to the fact they didn't follow their own "parts box process" leaving my son without a bed for 2 weeks when we finally moved. The company was unhelpful and took no accountability for what had happened (they even lied to me that my items were "safe" and refused to send me pictures of the items being received at an interim facility). I wrote a letter directly to the *** given ******' claim that the Executive Leadership team is here to "ensure customer needs are met." Of course, **********************, ****** ***, can't be bothered calling me to discuss. So, basically, the company posts false and misleading information about their customer service commitments online. Just an awful experience with incompetent, dishonest and disingenuous people who have no problem treating their customers like c***Review fromDEBRA M

1 starWORST CROSS-COUNTRY MOVER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED BY FAR!!! The salesman was extremely nice, polite and quoted well. I did chose them. I was NEVER able to reach that guy again for help with everything that was going wrong. They lost 2 important locked and valuable crates I paid extra insurance for. Moving day was a DISASTER - showed up late and wouldn't take my all of my dress boxes! They started going through my personal things and combining them and throwing them into less cartons I paid $700 for and they kept the remainder! I was to board a plane at 2pm and they were still at my home at noon and the taxi was waiting. They arrived 3 weeks LATE! I wanted to make sure I had all my crates, but the driver stated he had no time for m e to go through everything. He made me sign and he ran out. I was still unable to reach the original contact for Bekins/Wheaton Van Lines. When I caught my breath after a screaming match, I counted my boxes and looked for my 2 valuable crates and they were missing. Things were broke, too. I contacted the person to no avail. I started calling headquarters and the president to no avail. I finally got a number for customer service I was never given. They put a tracer on the 2 crates. After 30 days, they stated they couldn't find them. Then I had to file a claim. Their process is a nitemare!!! I filled out all the papers with receipts and pictures of the broken items. Then you have to wait another 60 days for a review by a person named ***********************. Her emailed arrived yesterday to say that I was NOT being reimbursed for anything!!!I beg you not to endure what I did! My mission in life will be to shut these deceiving movers who opened all my crates because the zip ties were gone and took what they wanted and probably sold the rest! The mementos and ************* from my Mom who had passed cannot be replaced! I should have paid more and went with Mayflower. They were my second choice. Please reevaluate your movers if Wheaton/Bekins is one of
