    I've called cooperate 3 times and left two messages. This has been the hardest move with very little support! I will continue to contact them until I hear from someone from this company..... here is the email that i sent about my 1st month at these apartments! Hello. I am becoming very frustrated. My very first 24 hours I had to call maintenance for a clogged toliet. 2 days later my ac is broken for a week. 5 days after moving in I found roaches in my kitchen. After that, I had black tar coming out of the bath tub. It's barely been a month and I needed maintenance at least once a week for a very inconvenience problem. These are just the issues that I am focusing on because they affect my comfort. Today I come home to almost a flooded kitchen. I understand that you guys are understaff but I can't believe that my apartment has this much problems in 30 days. I moved from home and do not have the luxury of staying with a family member. I mention that because my apartment is the only place that I have in this area and I can't even walk barefoot without the fear of stepping on a *****. I constantly keep my apartment clean especially my kitchen, I haven't cooked because of all the ***** traps on my counter top. I know I spoke to the manager when it came to the roaches but my stay here has been a nightmare. I love the area and the apartment so much. I'm not sure what else that I could do to keep my apartment together when every week there's been an issue. Can I speak to the person or persons at a cooperate level? I feel like I've been as patient and understanding so far. I lived in my last apartment for 15 years and I planned on steeplechase being my long-term home. I can not live in a place where I'm not comfortable. *** and Maintenance have been very helpful. I hope we can work together to stop the consistent challenges in my apartment. I'm becoming very stressed and disappointed.Do not move to any of their homes.

    Buckingham companies and properties have forced the non renewal of our leases solely due to greed, completely disregarding the physical pain my wife, a brain tumor and myself, shoulder surgery recovery and caused a faster deterioration of my back. Both seniors , both with good credit never late. We offered to pay more at Gramercy to stay where we were. We weee denied as the building and seven others were going to be demolished. We moved to *********** and found they too were renovating all townhomes so they can charge ***** a month **** over what we were paying. We almost did it a third time until they broke promises and lied more, which we finally moved away. They have not furnished our security deposit refund and the apartment at Gramercy ended being rented again as the ran out of money to be able to fund ************************* election. They need to pay restitution and penalties for the mental, physical, and financial harm they caused my wife and I. I gave this one star because it wont let you leave zero stars. They do not cater to the seniors or to the handicap. They do not care for the tenants but only for the all mighty dollar. They lie continuously, promising and never delivering on them just like their CEO *************************.

    Do yourself a favor and do not live in a property owned or managed by Buckingham! They will ***** you when your lease is up. This I thought was illegal, but evidently not. They can raise the rent by whatever percentage they want. In my case, raising it by 35%! I've never seen anything like this. The properties are old and managed poorly. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

    I have been getting collection notices for two years since leaving their property. IPL did not properly process my utility cutoff, and it seems Buckingham assumed everything would be handled by IPL and never called in to put their name back on the service. I was told by IPL (now AES) that I am out of luck and will be hounded for the money, regardless of whether I lived there or not because the agent who spoke to me did not process it in the system. I am currently an unemployed student and being hounded for money that has nothing to do with me and being threatened to have my credit damaged over someone else's bill.When IPL first contacted me about this 18-ish months ago, I talked to them about what was happening and they said they would reach out to Buckingham to resolve the situation. Obviously, Buckingham denied paying for their own utility costs and let it all fall on me.
