      We paid our bill months ago and now they are saying we haven't paid and are sending us to collections. They are either the most incompetent group I have ever seen or intentionally scamming people. The worst part is you have little way of knowing that you are going through them until after the fact due to the specialist in the surrounding hospitals are potentially through them.

      I have never seen the level of incompetence in a billing company until dealing with Radiologic Center, Inc. It is utterly absurd. I started to think that it was a scam company and maybe I do still think that now that I consider it. I contacted the hospital I had the service at and let them know and they just acted like they had no idea what I meant and were not really interested in caring about it. I do intend to call them back again. I called RC because I had confirmation of paying the last 2 portions of my **** electronically with my bank and they had not recorded it. (Learned my ****** after paying the first payment on their website) MyDocBill? Really? I see they have "searched and located" one of them but not the other but as far as I can tell it has not cleared my bank. There are no records when you go on and try to see past payments. Every service was denied (which I chalked up to not having quite met the deductible for my husband, but now I am going to look into further). I think there is something very wrong here and very suspicious. At the very least it is the epitome of bumbling ineptitude. The hospital I had this service at is very large (CHI) and in no way should be using a company that I picture running itself out of the backroom of a laundromat. It really is mind boggling that they are in business, let alone being used by legitimate corporations.
