      I own and operate Snagtown Automotive and Fab in ****** IN. Part of what we do is buy and sale industrial scrap. We rely on price quotes from scrap yards to offer fair prices to our customers, we have to know what we will get from a item before we can make a offer on it. I contacted omni source Recylcing about what prices they were offering for scrap aluminum. I gave very specific information about what I would have, I talked to a lady who told me she ran the scales. I told her I had a aluminum semi tanker trailer that I would be hauling in with a semi and dropping off for scrap. She asked several questions regarding it being a trailer, including asking if I had a title for the trailer, if the title was in my name. I informed her that I would get a title but the title was not in my name yet. She stated it had to be in my name for them to buy it. I said that wasnt a problem and could get it put in my name quickly. She then quoted me a price of $.45 a pound for the trailer if I hauled it in and dropped it. I asked how long the prices were good for and she said a week. I told her I would do a speedy title at the bmv and would see her as soon as it came in. Today I got the title and called the yard again to let them know I would be hauling it in to give them a heads up. A different employee who claimed to be the yard manager said they only pay $.12-15 a pound for semi trailer like what I have. I informed him that his employee quoted me $.45 just a few days prior. He said he didnt quote me that and they wouldnt be paying that much. Said they are not going to loose money on something just becausea employee told me a different price. He stated they would not honor the prices someone quoted me even though it would cost me several thousand dollars. He then said no one in their office forced me to buy the trailer as scrap and it wasnt their fault I would be loosing money.       1. Pricing quoted for the trailer in the complaint would be an indication subject to inspection and grading at our facility since there are many variables related to the construction of the trailer that would dictate its final value.
      2. We have no record in our system of a transaction occurring for subject trailer with either ************ or Snagtown Automotive and Fab LLC
