    I hired ********************** Remodeling Services to perform some repairs in and around my home. They began work on March 3, at which time I paid them a deposit of $500.Work continued sporadically for a week. One of the final jobs they performed was regrouting my shower, after which I paid the balance of $475. I inquired how long I needed to let it set before using it and was told "overnight." I waited an extra day before using it, but when I turned on the water, all the grout washed away. I contacted the company. Isaiah ********************** came out a few days later to regrout the shower. He did not return two days later as promised to clean the residue. He said to let it cure for a week. I gave it 8 days, but when I turned on the water, the grout again washed away.I contacted the company again and was told by ************************* that they would be out two days later to fix the issue. I rearranged my work schedule accordingly. No one showed up.I contacted **************** that evening. He promised that Mr. ********************** would be out at 2 the next day. I told him I wasn't available until 3, and he agreed. No one showed up.I contacted **************** and emailed Mr. **********************, informing them that I was not pleased with two no-shows, and I offered them the option of simply refunding that portion of the bill ($400). **************** began giving excuses: first, he said his daughter was ill (even though he is not the person who did the grout work and was never onsite with the grout work was done). Then he said he got sick. Again, he did not do that work. Next, he said Mr. ********************** was sick. I sent a second email to Mr. **********************, but have not heard back. The final excuse I got from **************** was that they are too busy. And, in fact, I see on their ******** page that they are doing other jobs -- negating the "sick" excuse.**************** insists that they stand behind their work. Since they have failed to show up twice and now are not even responding for a week, I simply want a refund so I can hire someone else.
