On 10/16 I arrived home around 3:30. I immediately saw my grass damaged as I pulled to my garage. This company had cut a tree down at *********************************************************************** order to cut the tree down. There was one guy left and I walked over and pointed out my lawn. He immediately called the owner who told him to blow out my grass. Anyway I asked for the owner number and company name. I called and the owner **** said well I knocked on your door and no one answered. He said it was a big tree and I could not get access. I said that is not my problem. I then proceeded to tell him they did not have my permission and the trucks messed up my yard. Then he said I can come by tomorrow and throw some seed down. I told him no. I want my grass restored etc. I feel this is horrible. How does a business have the right to utilize my driveway and backyard. Also the ground was damp and this made it worse. I work hard in my yard and I have my grass treated monthly etc. it is just terrible on that side now. Please help me. I do not want him to ever come on my property again. I want him to pay to have my yard landscaped by a landscape company of my choice and sod to restore that side of my yard.. I have tons of pics I can send you as well. I also sent pics to this owner yesterday and he kept down playing my complaint and took no accountability except to swing by and throw grass seed. This company had no right to enter my driveway and backyard. And the nerve to say he knocked on my door. Please tell me what my rights are and how to proceed. I want this listed as a formal complaint against them. Please help. My neighbor witnessed everything but he thought they had permission. Also the owner **** said they couldnt tell where the property line was. But you drove in my driveway through my backyard???? How crazy is this. The guy who I spoke with said he agreed and would be upset This guy is the owner son.

    Ms. ******* *****,

I am writing to reply what happened with this matter.  On October 16, 2024 I was contracted to remove a tree from the next door neighbor of the complainant. This was a very large tree, the backyards were not marked, nor were there fences.  I knocked on the complainant's door to ask about the property lines and no one answered.  I wasn't aware until after the job was complete that some of the back property that we were on belonged to the complainant. The complainant reached out to me upset that her grass was damaged (smashed down, no ruts, just the grass smashed).  I offered to come back out and fluff the grass back up (it was smashed down due to the brush of the tree laying on it temporarily).  I was willing to come back out and fluff it up, add dirt, reseed the area and lay down straw to restore the laid over grass.  Due to the drought in our area the grass does get "smashed" down due to the weight of the brush and the crew dragging it to the chipper.  I was unsure how to proceed, I offered to remediate this situation, she refused my offer.

I am still more than willing to come out to remediate.

I appreciate your time and consideration of the matter.
    Thank you,
