I phoned Airport Animal ************* 4/11/2024 at approximately 4:30am with concerns of my dog, Tank whining after constipation that turned to diarrhea issues and him acting "off", asking what time would I have to arrive before they close if this continues? A lady said 7:30am with them closing at 8am. When I decided to go, I arrived during a flood watch and was put on hold upon calling at arrival at approximately 6:40am. I was told reluctantly to come in. ***********************, DVM looked at my paperwork from my dog, ****'s vet the previous days and said I quote "He's sicker than I have time for". He stated he wouldn't know why other vet would have put him on a steroid or the compound prescribed because one ingredient prevented the other two from being absorbed. I asked him what he meant by saying ****'s sicker than what he had time for? He said they were trying to do discharges from the night, on top of it being a "crazy" busy night. Already worried about my dog, I felt very unwelcome by their rude behavior as if I was bothering them by being there in spite of their $149.00 examination fee. Tank was prescribed some Rx and was rushed through with the dosage explanation by the tech and left. I will not feel comfortable going back to this business and wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I did.
