10/14/2023 $3221.29 I bought a wedding dress, accessories, and the Diamond package, where they clean the dress after the wedding and preserve it. They closed doors and I never got my dress preserved. They closed down without telling anyone. I paid for a preservation kit that I never got. Many other brides are without dresses and other goods due to them abruptly closing. They just took our money and ran with it.Initial Complaint

I have a wedding on August 17th. I went in to Gretchens Bridal on April 20th, to find and purchase four bridesmaids and two flower girl dresses. We ordered and paid for six dresses. We even paid for a rush fee for all of the dresses to come in on time. Only three dresses arrived. I went to the store to ask about the delivery of my other three dresses, and they told me they would get in contact, but never did. Among all of this, the store suddenly and irrevocably closed, permanently. Dozens of brides are now scrambling because they have paid Gretchens Bridal directly for dresses, but will not receive them whatsoever without jumping through hoops to contact manufacturers and other sympathetic competitors. Some wont receive their dresses at all.We paid over ***** dollars to this gallery, and feel lucky to receive half of my goods. The other half, I never received. There are three of them missing.flower girl dress - ****** Bridesmaid dress - ****** Bridesmaid dress - ****** After over a week of contacting multiple stores and suppliers, Nancys Bridal Boutique has contacted the designer of the dresses, to find they were never shipped. Now I am expected to pay 720 dollars MORE to repurchase the gowns at Nancys price. Ive already paid for this! Gretchens owner is **** off grid, cannot be reached by anyone. I dont believe ****** is not at fault and Im grateful for their help. Its just that we all already paid for the gowns. We all paid separately and I covered my maid of honor. Thats all fine, its what I expected!Now we have to repurchase the dresses. If theres any way somebody could hold Gretchens accountable to refund our payment for these three dresses, that would be phenomenal. Attached is my conversation with ****** Bridal, and Proofs of Purchase from Gretchens. One of the girls never even received a receipt, so her p.o.p. is her bank statement. I purchased my wedding dress and a preservation package from this bridal shop in August 2023. It has been brought to my attention that the store is permanently closed, abruptly. Their last day in business was Saturday, June 29, 2024. My wedding is not until September 14 of 2024, and, I will not get to use the preservation package that I paid for. The preservation package cost $425. There is no way to contact this business. Their phone line is disconnected, their email is disconnected, and their website is gone. The only thing I can find is their ******** page, and there is no way to contact them based on it. I would just like a refund for the preservation package we paid for that we will no longer get to use.Initial Complaint

May 1, ************************************************************* November. The location closed last month without word or notice to me. Their phone number is disconnected and website has been taken down. There was a news story posted yesterday about the landlord repossesing the space. On 03Mar2024, visited ********'s Bridal Gallery @ **************************************************************** and purchased a wedding dress on the same date. Purchase was paid in full via credit card. On 03Jul2024 via social media posts and on-line news sources, learned that ********'s was permanently closed with no notice. I attempted to contact the business only to find that their phone number, email and website are out of service. I have no way to contact the business to determine the status of my dress order or how to receive when delivered.Initial Complaint

We bought a wedding dress that was to be ordered on May 18, 2024. We paid $1400 for the dress. We go to check on the status of the dress and they are saying that there is no website and they have closed the business. No way to contact them to get money back or anything. We now are out $1400 and no wedding dress.
