      Engaged Bachman Auto Group multiple times regarding a brand new vehicle that was purchased on August 28 2024 and reported that day of rear bumper alignment issue and following with inoperable rear defroster making driving the vehicle unsafe in the early mornings everyday children are taken to school. I was told to reach out to Jeep directly for parts to replace. Bachman is nonchalant and has not done nor provided solution after multiple weeks have elapsed and multiple calls and email messages to them. Claims that parts have been ordered, shipped and on the way via ***** and ***. Weeks have passed with no follow up and solution to issues brought up to them.

      Thank you for your letter regarding ******* ********* 2024 Jeep wrangler vin *****************. His rear window containing the defog assembly came in and we installed it as soon as possible. That repair was completed on 10/28/2024. A front alignment was also performed on that day to assure the vehicle was operating as designed. ** ******* was in and out of the shop the same day.

      After the transmission, which is under warranty, went out on our van, we made an appointment and dropped the van off on 4/1//24 for a new transmission to be installed. We picked the van up mid-May and it still was not shifting correctly. We called, made an appointment (two weeks out) and dropped it back off on 6/7/2024. With no response to calls, I went in person on 7/23/2024 and spoke to the serviceman. (I was basically told they drove it 1 time in that 6 week period and they had not submitted any requests for a second new transmission) I told him this was unacceptable because we had not heard a word from them regarding any updates/issues. We were told we would have an update within 1 week. After no response, I went back on 8/2/2024 and spoke with two separate men regarding the issue. I was told they would request another transmission from Chrysler. On 8/19 I received a text saying they still had not heard back from Chrysler, and was told to contact Customer Care. I contacted CC on 8/26 and was given a case number. I called CC back on 9/12 and was told this was not their issue, but rather Bachman's issue. CC could see where a request was submitted. In the meantime, I have sent three texts to a serviceman (8/27, 9/3 and 9/12) all with no response. April, May, June, July, August, and now September. It has been over five months, and our van is still in their possession and the original problem, which is under warranty, is still not solved. We simply want the van fixed and back to us.

      My son recently purchased a Lease deal at Bachman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Jeffersonville Indiana. After two days, he realized he did not like the vehicle for several functional reasons. This location has a three day exchange policy. My husband and I Tried to return the vehicle on the third day. Several of the salesman said they had no idea what we were talking about and the manager was not in. My husband brought up the exchange policy from their website and read it to them. They then said it was only for used vehicles. So my husband again, read them the three day exchange policy and it was for any lease or new purchase vehicles so then they said they were gonna go get a manager who supposedly was not there. and left us waiting outside. We contacted the corporate Office who said they were escalating the call. We got a call the next day stating they were going to escalated even further. After two more days, we got a call, saying that they weren’t going take it any further and we needed to contact the general manager. I emailed The chief executive officer for this particular car lot and I have had no response. They are committing fraud. They advertise a three day exchange policy, but are refusing to uphold what they advertise. I would like a resolution which would be to uphold their policy. I have screenshots of their policy.

      I have chosen to reject the response because. Although Bachman has honored the 3 day policy now. The amount of trouble we had to go through was ridiculous.The numerous emails phone calls and corporate complaints we made just to get them to do the right thing and bold face lies by the sales manager Wes unacceptable. Bachman Chrysler Jeep dodge ram  in Jeffersonville Indiana are liars and poor salesman and managers. I would never refer any business there and I will never do business there again.

      *** **** was in fact in one of our loaner cars and wrecked it. He stated that he did not have insurance and agreed to pay us for the repairs. *** **** wrote us a check for the full amount with the understanding that if he quit making payments, we would cash this check. To my knowledge has made payments as agreed but will need to confirm with our accounting department.
