Drove my son for 35 mins to ******, WVs urgent care only to be told that the next available time for him to be seen is 2.5 hours from our arrival and that once we check in we could leave and return. When I asked if this was an urgent care facility they said I should have used the online tool to make an appointment. I said I was not wanting to visit a clinic, I was looking for an urgent care center to treat my son immediately. They said I have to wait or go somewhere else.Really? Is this false advertising? What happened to first come, first served based on triage? There were people coming in for sports physicals and work related drug test that were seen before my son because they had appointments while my son was in pain. This place stinks as an URGENT CARE center, DO NOT go there and expect to be treated promptly.I know the companys response will be, We need the patients information in order to review this case

Virtual visit was a joke, less than 1 minute to inform us my daughter would need to be seen in person and still charged over $200! For what?? Now I'm told they don't accept walk-ins and one of the only places who charges copays for kids with CHIPs. Definitely take medical needs elsewhere.

Had a teledoc visit a few weeks ago and they told me several times once they checked my insurance that the visit would be free. Now two weeks later theyre trying to charge me $176. I wouldnt have done the visit if I was going to be charged. Its cheaper to just go to the doctor.

When a patient presents with insurance to a MedExpress center for an in-person or virtual visit first we verify if the patient has eligible coverage. This is done electronically. All the insurance provides us is if the patient has a copay for the services. If they do not have a copay, no monies are collected at tme of service. Patients are not told their visits are "free". When insurance processed the claim, they applied the balance in questions towards the patient's deductible. The patient can reach out to their insurance carrier with any questions about the way the claim was processed.

Unfortunate fall led led me to the ****** post of MedExpress. **** and ***** , my caregivers, are different! They have and answer a call, a high call. They dont do what they do for a paycheckalone. They do it, because they must. I lift them up to our community, these caregivers show us what we all can be. I lift them up, because they wont lift themselves up. The just come to their workplace every day, even on a Friday night, and do what they do, with excellence and ******

This is a fraudulent establishment. Go in for a Covid test? They will tell you it is free and covered by insurance, but you will receive two bills in the mail, 5 months later, both for different amounts, both claiming to be the total balance from that visit. Need a doctors note for work? Same thing: they tell you you have a minimal co-pay (like $20) and insurance will cover the rest. I went in December and received 3 bills, each with a different amount, all claiming to be my total balance, all ranging from $60 to $130. The most recent bill I received was in July, for $130. This is after I paid my copay in person, paid the first $90 bill, and refused to pay the second bill they had also sent me for the same services. All these bills reference the same visit where I only received a doctors note for a fever I had. I just spoke to the bill collection agency on the phone after receiving the 3rd bill for $130, and after speaking to a supervisor they determined that I only owe $60, total, but they will need two more months to figure out for certain. None of these numbers add up. None of them were provided with any context as to what the charges correspond to. Everytime I speak to this company or their collection agency, or when I attempt to pay a bill, I am given a new one which makes even less sense than the prior. It has been over 6 months and I still have yet to get an explanation as to why I owe money and how much. Do not trust this company, do not even use them. Contact your local authorities and report their misconduct. On another note, the service is horrible. When I went for a covid test, they forgot about me for about 45 minutes while I waited in the patient's room. When I got impatient and left the room, I found out my covid test had been complete for **************************************** They told me this test was free, it ended up costing nearly $200.

I came in on a ******* compensation order for a dog bite, I was told they are booked for the day at 4:00pm. Its a walk-in urgent care how does that make sense?

We recently went live with online scheduling tool which enhances the patient experience but it also helps our centers to have more predictabilty on their day. If a patient present to a center, they know if there is availablity at thattime to see the patient, it not, they will schedule an appointment that is convenient for them.

Was threatened with police after voicing my opinion on their practices for a drug test. Arrived at 930am, 1hr to check in, told to come back at ****, came back at ****, checked back in, waited another 1 1/2hrs until I questioned them. Receptionist lady was very rude from the first encounter and proceeded to be rude with every customer that came in, finally putting a sign on the door at **** saying no more drug tests. By my calculations they were doing 1 every hour and half, a drug test takes 10mins tops. Stay away from the ****************, ** location

We take the concerns of our patients very seriously and appreciate sharing the experience. MedExpress continues to see very high volumes of urgent care patients and wait times are often longer than we would like. We may have patients leaving the premises in lieu of waiting, It is difficult to predict when to have a patient return to the center when we have patients being seen for a variety of illness and injuries which creates variability in the evaluation and treatment time by our providers. We have listened to patient feedback such as yours and we have tried various approaches to reduce wait times and increase efficiencies, Regarding the interaction with staff you may have had, we take this very seriously. A full inquiry into the events will take place and opporunities for feedback/education will occur.

I visited Medexpress twice to get a prescription for a skin infection. They told me there was no charge. I received a bill a few weeks after the first visit for $178. I went back to Medexpress due to it breaking out again. I told them that I was charged, they said it was a mistake and to call billing. I asked 3 times to confirm that they had my correct medical information and that there would be no charge, they assured me of this. I was just charged $178 again for my 2nd visit today. Do not go to Medexpress, they are blatantly scamming people

Another lie from medexpress, Considering I have receipts of the charges, are you trying to say you charged me for medical attention when I did not even visit your office? I want this issue resolved. Your lack of credibility and disorganization from a healthcare company, a place that is supposed to help people, is troubling

We went to urgent care in ********* ** on 7/6 and a follow-up on within the 10 day window on 7/15. They started a urine test kit, but then said it wasn't get sent out. Today, we got a **** for the test for $290. We weren't told what the form was for that we were signing, when we complained they said it wasn't sent out. I'd like the **** to be dropped.
