5 starsMet with ****** ****** today, regarding a drainage issue with washer. It is a corrosion issue and is going to be more involved than expected. ****** explained the problem with me and what might be involved in fixing it. ****** was very helpful and we set up a date next week to get the issue solved. Unit had a bad transformer, rather than just replace the transformer technician tried to make repair seem outrageously priced and recommended new A/C unit. Next day had another company come out and A/C was fixed for 1/5th of the price summers quoted. Will never use them again.Summers of Kokomo Inc.

I am so sorry for your experience with us! After review of the call with our technician it does look like he suggested that the system was experiencing multiple issues, including a frozen unit, a non-functioning blower motor, and a suspected bad transformer. I do apologize if he did not communicate this properly to you. On account of your experience with us, we would love to refund back your $154 due to us not being able to take care properly at the time of service and we provide 100% customer satisfaction or your money back. Again we apologize you felt like you needed to call another provider to get the issue resolved. We will be sending this in the form of a check to your address listed on your account. I called Summers to come look at my HVAC system because it stopped working. They said I needed a brand new system and it would cost $18,000.
I ended up finding a local contractor that was able to fix my issue for $1,250. All I needed was a new circuit board.
I don’t think Summers has any intention of fixing your problem, nor are they qualified to fix existing units. I think their only intention is to come out and try to con people into spending $18,000 on a brand new system that they don’t need.
If you have an issue with your HVAC, DO NOT CALL SUMMERS. They will try to scam you.Summers of Kokomo Inc.

I am so sorry for your experience with us, we do want to take care of our customers to the best of our ability. We did not charge any service fee on this service call due to our customer wanting to replace at the time or later on after the install was cancelled due to the customer not being satisfied. We did give recommendations at the time to replace due to the age of the equipment and with the flooding the customer had experienced. We do want to make sure everyone is taken care of and we again apologize for your experience with us.
