I purchased my car after being told a SPECIFIC problem (tcm), had a check engine light on which is what they told me it was on for. So while I was away while my boyfriend was looking it over, I did a little research because they told me theyd drop the price $1,500, so I wanted to know what I was getting into before I made this purchase. The *** is under warranty for the year of my car for another couple of months, and a few more miles because **** was not aware which all vins it was an issue for. I took my car to a **** dealership to get the specific test, found out it is not the part that is malfunctioning and now am stuck paying an arm and a leg for diagnostics because **** is the only one that can determine if its the pcm or ecm. If I had known about this, i would not have made this purchase, those are much bigger issues, one of them being a safety issue and I am appalled at the denial of knowledge and ridiculous behavior when I was upset, so i hung up the phone and took time to cool down before calling back, because I did not want to be rude or say anything out of line. When I called back, the receptionist told me she left a message for ****, which is who I spoke to , and he never returned my call.

******* ****** knowingly bought a vehicle that was sold as is as shown and was aware of any issues the vehicle had. After speaking with *******, the stem of the issue came from her treatment that she received from the **** dealer where she took her vehicle to get serviced and will not install the part that she ordered her vehicle. As a one time courtesy, we are installing the part that ******* ordered for her vehicle to fix the issue. She has since dropped the vehicle at off at our dealership to get the repair completed. The issue seems to be resolved.
