  In April 2023 I hired ***************************** ************************* is the owner I hired him for 2 bathroom remodels and 2 bedrooms of windows for ***** I pay him ********************************************************************************************************************* middle of June he asks for more money said bathroom is ***** now instead of ***** he said my wife approved extras I said no one did and I am not married and said to call me before doing extras which were questionable extras he moved locations of shower sink and door on his own choice said I had to pay for plumbing vents and electric that has to be moved as a result I said I didn't approve any of that he said he would cheap out on vanity mirror and others which he did to get down to ***** I agreed **** over I gave ********************************************************** he went on vacation came back wanted remaining balance of contract I said that's against contract and it's ***** total now I said you haven't done anything else how did it go up more. He said he was not doing more then **** more of work without it at that point I told him I didn't want him doing other bathroom finish the 1st give me **** back he declined I tried working out doors and windows instead of refund he came up with that idea then backed out after I agreed thru text. Then I looked into him more found page made with others that went thru the same thing and showed he is violent criminal theft gun charges b&e so I tell him I don't want him in my house he threatened me for 2nd time so I stopped communicating applied for protective order and am struggling to find a lawyer I can pay to take this kind of case. I even offered to let him not finish the 1st bathroom and keep ***** he refused. I just want help keeping him away stop him from doing it to even more and hopefully recover some of my money he has taken off with. Please help anyway you can thank you

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 
  

  His resolution is nothing but lies. I never approved and overages except a **** verbally which is why I agreed to ***** in charges. It was write at *****. When he discussed extra plumbing he told me it would be under that amount which there was no extra plumbing he moved the locations of the sink and shower and attached new plumbing there it would be impossible to do less with his decision to redesign the layout. He also left the previous sink drain open allowing toxic fumes into my house and a lot of my previous flooring in crawlspace to attract bugs. He also did not insulated plumbing or connect drain correctly to shower. My new contractor recommends complete start over from the bad workmanship. That combined with his very violent, theft, breaking and entering and gun violence history until a few years ago made me not want to accept his offers. He did not want to give a refund which is what the **** was it was for the supplies and labor for other bathroom he never began that I prepaid for. It was actually more but I took off the **** I allowed him to go over. I was even allowing him to not finish the first bathroom it still has lots of work he removed my heater and thermostat without permission claimed he would replace he did not. He removed all outlets and one for no reason in room next to bathroom that is not a master bedroom like he keeps claiming. He never put in exhaust or replaced light or added speaker. He never finished the drywall putty or paint. Lots of plumbing was loose and shower is not sealed correctly my new contractor has to essentially start over. None of this probably even matters he changed the name of his company to brass legacy general contractors so no one will even look up his reviews. He has a pattern of doing this to customers. I am now taking him to court to *** him. He refused to ever complete contracts to term it said rest due upon completion I caved once and wouldn't again and he refused to honor the contract then spent half a day trying to come up with solutions 2 of his I accepted but he backed out but now I don't want him to ever come in my house he threatened violence twice. Both solutions was doing work instead of refund.
