I have never dealt with a business like heartland in ******, this morning, when I called to get satisfaction on a situation about my contact lenses, I was told that I had used my benefits from ******** on glasses that I had no intention of getting when they were told to me they were free, now today when I come into the store, I brought back the glasses and ask for a credit, and they told me that I couldnt return them because they were customize, what do you mean my prescription? I told the lady that I had came in there to get only contacts no intentions of ever ordering glasses. The tech has said through my insurance. The glasses would be free to find out that they werent and they use my benefits toward them and then now Ive have to pay out of pocket for my contact lenses , what a deceiving way of doing business Ive never had a problem with them and I couldnt understand why they couldnt resolve it. I left out of there feeling half full, in all my years dealing with heartland I have never ever order glasses, went in with only intentions of getting contact lenses, and was offered free glasses through my provider, thats what I was told, to find out they charge my insurance for the glasses, not knowing how much they cost cause they were talk to me free, and when I try to give them back and told no, so where do we go from here? I left the building that provides a service and cons people out of their benefits, but Im not disclosing whats going on, I will never do business with heartland ever again if this is the type of practices they do, please be advised of what theyre charging your insurance
